the dance was cool...but what it was the execution...the difference between thme and 14k is 14k does use tech but not as much as them because they have developed the modern/florida ride out type of dance and go hard whereas Champagne does this ballet/graceful type of dance and doesn't like to brake a sweat well thats what it seemd lik to me
I think these girls are good, this was just not their day, we all have off days, but to me the energy was not there and they did nothing to really make you say DAMMMMMNNNN. Oh and can yall plz stop calling 14k strippers, because those girls are really good, and their shows are always on point.
Ladies you all need a little work. Saw U at the Hall of Fame in ATL and felt the same way. Yall have the potential to give much better shows. I was more impressed with Alabama States Stingettes and Morehouse's Mohogany N Motion at the HOF. Champayne I want to see better...
you people are missing the point a choreography is nothing with out dancers and vice versa but both parties have to be on each others level you have squads that have dancers with excellent ability and horrible choreography and the you have excellent choreographers with unlimited ability and imagination but horrible dancers but SCSU has a excellent choreographer with unlimited ability and imagination but his dancers are just Ok there not the cream of the crop but guess what they still pull it off
As a dancer trained in Show Band style dancing and theatre and knowing the basis of working choreography thats clever, technical and entertaining very few blck squads have those components does that make Champagne the best No but thats makes the relevant when you mentions HBCU squads thats Note worthy and 14K isn't it at all in my book the stripppers with a band behind them and it's futile to sit here and even compare the two some uneducated individuals should be quiet....

I can very much agree with everyone when they say Brian is an awesome choreographer. He's taught me everything I know, is and alwyas will be a good friend of mine.

Man each dance troupe has its own swag..... Now u have to realize that most HBCU bands give what the crowd wants... 14k has percision and sync.... Now I have seen the Champagne Dancers, b to gether.. Or the Champagne still don't fit all da songs that they dance 2... There are dance troupes that are all around dancers and will run rings around these girls. SU, Dancing Dolls, Grambling Orchesis, NSU Fire and Ice...
Hey you have to take somethings into consideration.
1. Brain did not want that Bubblin look at all for these girls, Bubblin was known for dancing hard. Although I agree that these girls can get some more funk, but you have to realize they feed off of the band engergy, if the horns are not blowing and rocking it tends to through the dance routine off a little if you get what I mean.
Brian is a great choreographer and it is proven here. I think he is shooting for a squad that has more technique than anything else. It's kinda like what he was doing with Bubblin' their last year of existance. Show that they can do more than dance hard.
YAll got Bubblin's look but you don't have there ummmph yet these girls have a lot of potential but yall just got to get some funk in yall dance thats it other than that i love the choreography it genius.....
