@qtwrestler wtf are u talking about, im not even from iowa and i no thats bullshit. now when you say 145 i guess your talking about the 141 or 149 weight classes, because there is no 145 in collegiate wrestling, and this year in the ncaa championships iowa had the 2nd place finisher in 141 and the winner in 149. and iowa as a state has completely dominated the last 35 years, they have won 23 titles since 1975 alone. and just so you know ohio st or any team from ohio has never won.

Nothing like an hour-and-a-half, or two, practice in the wrestling room (90 degrees and 80% humidity). Then? RUN STAIRS!!! The flashbacks are almost as bad as the time I spent in that environment. But, in the 70's, if you wanted to be competitive in Iowa (H.S. or college) you put in the time, until you had nothing else to give. Come on!, as my coach always blurted out. Rest for a second, lose the match.
