2 reasons you saying that hard:

1. you are slow when theres a note. and you should hold the fret with your thumb and finger together and not thumb only

2. its One so its kinda hard for people like you...

try it on an easier difficulty or play an easy song like Nothing Else Matters :P

or it could be that I don't play this everyday and I'm a casual player of it. I go through expert career to unlock the quick play list and after that I just play them for fun. I don't really go for top scores I just enjoy it when it's completed. There are some that are out of my skill level but I still pass them. That's all I'm after in the game. I've only 100% completed 2 songs between GH3, GH:WT, and GH:M

But this game actually helps... when ur playing guitar in GH on expert it makes ur finger move fast and that helps alot for real guitar because u need to move ur fingers swiftly on real guitar also and Strumming also builds u stamina for real guitar strumming.

More than likely I would say not just because ps2 uses the thin and wide plug ins and the ps3 is wireless/USB. There is no place to plug in ps2 controllers on a ps3, at least none that I've seen.

the mic doesn't work is all. Try another one. I know the Socom headset works on the pc. If you got a few different ones try them, otherwise if you want to sing that bad, youll have to buy the mic seperately.

Only thing that really annoys me about the Metallica songs is that to avoid using a lot of frames they often cut away from the guys playing and just show the stage at a distance or something like that. Miss a lot of crucial little video details that could've been put in no problem. But overall, it's an amazing game, and of course, impressive PS2 graphics.

Although, the text for vocals is nearly unreadable but... don't sing much anyway.

The solo part at I think 80-85% is where it's most noticable. The final solo part is astronomically hard. The only way I can get by it is with full star power and luck that I hit enough notes after star power wears off to make it to the end.

I use the ps3 rockband 1 drums with my ps2 version of guitar hero world tour and metallica. The wireless controller I do not know but I doubt it. The ps3 rockband drums do NOT work on anything that's on the xbox 360.
