The only time i'd eat protein bars is when i'm travelling and cant eat decent meals or maybe dont even have a chance to make protein shakes..I couldnt see sitting at home eating these when real food or whey is cheaper per gram of protein
@JoblessDerrick they do taste very good. We really don't do much with bars outside this video. If you have any specific questions we are happy to answer.
Isn't it dangeroues to take these protein bars? I mean, I read a lot of ingredients there, and I'm asking, ok, it's a good source of protein, but is it ok by health standarts? Not too much "chemistry"?
@kiril1 its hard to generalize as there so many bars on the market now. Many are gluten free, some use sugar alcohols for texture some don't. If you have problems with a particular bar try another also don't make them a staple. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the video. Tonight i bought a box of "pure protein" chocolate deluxe" bars and was wandering if thats a good source of protein as a snack, also if there is any other choices that i could get more proyein per calorie?
@rg1114 those are OK, there are lower calories bars with a better carb to protein ratio if that is what you are looking for, please not this is not to say these are bad. Also keep in mind bars are best used as the occasional snack out of convenience and not a staple. Hope this helps.
@MacPr0xnxx0 body type really does not matter in this case. It's more of a thing where protein bars can used to as convenient source of protein in your diet. Body type can be used for figuring out your training method and calorie intake, however even then the influence of body type does get exaggerated. Hope this helps.
@MacPr0xnxx0 Well if your an endomorph i guess then that your trying to watch your calories and lose weight. Protein bars are something that probably an ectomorph would grab as a quick source of fuel especially if hes working out that day. FOr an endo the only thing that would make sense is a zero carb zero sugar bar, never heard of one.
hey hey! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy lost tons of weight with it.
@kill3rcr3w that is difficult to determine with the info provided. Protein bars can be used to supplement your diet how much and how often is relative to your goals and the rest of your diet.
I am looking for a protein bar that is low in sugar, and 12 or more grams of protein per bar, with 170 calories (approximately) or less, There is only one I have found currently, GNC ProCrunch LITE bars. I wanted to see if there was any alternatives to these out there. Please let me know, thanks.
@toegone Bionutritional Research Group Power Crunch Wafers, EAS, Myoplex Lite Bars, and Optimum Nutrition Optimal Protein Diet 15/Box,. All of these are know for tasting good. Also you could buy a larger bar and only eat half. Hope this helps.
nice review....can u guys do u review of ALRI supplements humapro and chain'd out?? i dont think anybody has done any real reviews on these two supplements and yall do a great job at it.
@rammajamma1993 it's really subjective as taste is really important to most people. The BNRG Power Crunch bars featured in the video are very popular.
Nice review. I've seen some protein bars that has low fat, about 1:1 ratio of carb and protein...BUT IT HAS LIKE 12 GRAMS OF SUGAR -_- ... i don't even think it's alcohol sugar either. Anyways, nice review, keep them coming please
