@fidesdefensor nearly every singer uses autotune in the studio, probably over 95%. this is not always because the artists wants to but rather producers and record labels demanding it. ive heard john mayer live and he seemed to be on pitch on basically everything. live autotune is a difficult thing to do because you end up sounding robotic like T-pain. studio pitch correction is more labor intensive
