  • thnks a lot my friend

  • what's the name of that program

  • @pipo4ever13 Pretty sure it's Audacity

  • Thanks for the explanation!

  • omggggg. dude you are my hero... i have 2000 watts rms to two kicker 15's. the one ten i had before had more bass than it... this therefore has to be the problem. jeez man, thanks for this video

  • @MechInvent dude, swap them round and tell me what happens!! You'll be blown away!

  • @barevids will do, i switch them in a few hours. ill tell you what happens!

  • @barevids wow.... all i can say is that the subs went from maybe a 6 inch sub, if that, to making the hair on the back of my neck stand up... I'm just really happy i didnt blow anything when i put the subwoofer and bass setting on max, as well as the amp... this video was a lifesaver and a sub saver ha, thanks again.

  • I have that program on my computer, but I have no idea how to really use it, lol. I can just do tones.

  • wooow man!! nice explanation!! 5 / 5

  • WOW That much cancelation form one sub out of phase do you get the same when to woofers are wired up the same but ones different

  • Also, you can get similar effects of cancellation by using different speakers and amps mixed together like you have there :)

Doing that will lessen the sound quality since the speakers wont be moving exactly the same. They wont be moving opposite, but since they are different they will move slightly different. Especially if theres a second totally different amplifier in the mix.

  • Yup. Thats pretty much what happens. Iv done it, I know how it sounds. In some cases there will be more sound than that, Iv actually had my Xplods out of phase before and they still hit, obviously not as hard, but it wasnt exactly quiet.

  • i never thought there would be that much cancellation if they were out of phase! ill have to try it for myself just to hear it in person!

  • yeah i didnt either but i took my subs out a couple days ago went to put them back in and wasnt payin attention and wired one outa phase turned it on and barley heard any bass... was looking at the wires spotted the problem fixed it and was back in business.

  • u can put an cap on the powersupply to handle the load
