Yes - Its a programmable synth. You can edit any of the presets and make them your own with different filters, envelopes and effects. You can also stack and layer sound too to fatten things up.

MM6 can 'play on its own' without a computer AND can connect to a computer via USB. It can do both.

It is a great transition if you want preload sounds and works great as a midi keyboard. I run my MPC 1000 and FM8 plug-in through the MM6 and it is simple with little to no latency.

the dealer who sold me my motif told me that i should get the 76 key, even though thats what i wanted anyway because it had more crispier and clearer quality than the 88 key

You would soon get used to the weighted keys. I have had many weighted key type keyboards and really it's only slightly slower than playing a non weighted synth action keyboard. Having said that, in this particular case the MM8 is extremely bad value for money. It's identical to the MM6 apart from the extra keys. Just not worth it.

Well , yes you can but MM6 already comes with Cubase AI4 in the box and thats loads better than Logic Studio. Anyway, yes - you can control software synths from the MM6.

Only 8 MIDI channels = Only 32 notes of polyphony.

If you go to use the Cubase you will need mix audio and MIDI to have a great song.

Get MM6. Its sounds are fatter than Juno-D's sounds. Also, MM6 has a sequencer, Juno-D hasn't it.

It's not a sequencer. It's nothing more than an 8 track sketch pad. I would hardly call the MM6's recorder a sequencer because a sequencer will at least loop, copy/paste, and even have one of the most basic functions such as QUANTIZE. The Juno may not have a seq, but it's miles ahead of the MM6 in terms of prof sounds, and pro use. The MM6 is just a cheap PSR arranger. Plus the Juno has editing software that works with software seq's. Sorry, but the Juno is more pro than the MM6.
