Why are things so complicated in England? In most U.S. states, you can drive a bus on a regular license as long as it is registered as a recreational vehicle and can't legally seat more than 15 people. An old cross-country bus converted to an RV is a good example. And you can even tow up to 10K LBS without any special endorsements.
I looked at RV licence requirements for my home province of Ontario, Canada, and they appear to be similar to the British requirements (save, perhaps, for the hazard perception test).
I wouldn't book my training with that company 1:45 you don't do a emergency stop for Class C its a controlled stop and you rarely do it on the test
