Guys don't seem to be very exciting when Axl comes into the room. I've always thought that, yes, GNR were a very big good band (I cannot say this about the "new" GNR), but sometimes Axl wasn't so tied up with the band, or the band wasn't so tied up with Axl. See, it's only an opinion, but I've always known this. Mayby the feeling about GNR and Axl is not so bad as I thought...

this doesnt mean that axl had no connection to the other guys. duff has said that axl is a very loving guy and steven adler said the same in 2008. izzy has talked about what a difficult childhood axl had (he's known axl since their school days). years of abuse by his father made axl a sensitive kid who was shy at heart.

well, it wasnt "GNR and Axl" who didnt have good feelings. izzy left for a number of reasons including his disgust at slash and duff's out of control substance abuse. duff has defended axl quite a few times since leaving GNR so obviously his feelings arent quite negative.

musical differences were one important reason for the split. slash's best friend marc canter has said that slash got over-confident after the Slash's snakepit tour thinking he could do it all by himself.
