Beast Machines and Beast Wars are my two favorite Transformers series. That being said, I can see why people don't like the former. Case in point: Optimus Primal saying "I understand now..." in almost every episode.

this toy made other electronic transformers bow down in shame...the motion detector gimmick (the soaring effect) is simply amazing!! I still cant believe this was made in 2001!!! Toys released these days dont even have such gimmick!!!

Actually he's standing right next to my Optimal Optimus and he's pretty big, he's a 12" figure while Optimal Optimus is around 9" (not counting the shoulder panels that make it seem bigger).

But in the show, yes he is smaller, way smaller than Optimal Optimus.

this review was awsome and i always wanted this transformer.he the only primal i dont have.but i noticed in a lot of ways that this optimus primal is alot like the first beast wars one in trems of transformation if you think about.but i was laughing butt with the trouble you where having with him and the sound effect that was just funny.i hope i can get one of my own soon that way i can display with my other primal.again thanks for the review
