I look at it this way. I'm a big fan of Faith No More and I like Mike Patton, but I don't care for a lot of his more avant garde stuff at all. But that's ok, because he's the artist and he can do what he wants. Same ultimately is true of Cornell
almost wish they recorded the intro without matts drum intro, whenever they play it live matt crashes directly into the song and it kicks the song off so fucking hard
Barack Obama has recently put forth an additinal amendment to the constituion" If a band/musician recorded an album wanted by all the people and the band/musician is not releasing the album. The tapes coresponding to the recording can be seized and will published and distributed, without the copyright holders permission, among the fans."
To the statements beyond. Yes, Chris stop kissing Timbalands ass and get back with your old Soundgarden mates. You don't belong (never did) in the world of R'n'B.
Hush, Chris can do whatever he wants dude. Nothing he does now takes away from his old stuff.Besides, he said Scream wasnt a new career direction, but something he wanted to do because he is partly influenced by rhythm and blues singers, plus HE contacted Timbaland about doing remixes and suggested doing a whole album, or did you not pay attention.. I swear fans are so ungrateful these days, just be happy he has given over 20 years of great shit to listen to with no end in sight
I respect any musician for NOT doing the same thing constantly. As a musician we are restless people thats the reason we are creative. That being said, you have to remember what you're good at and truly enjoy doing. That is also what other people will enjoy WATCHING you doing.
100% Agreed, Loud Love has got to be my favorite song from them and possibly in my top ten fav songs ever, I could listen to it night and day and still trash about like I was still 12 years old
Does anyone know if there's a video of this whole performance up anywhere? I've been trying to find it for 6 years since it was posted on the unofficial Soundgarden website!!!
Sorry, no luck on this one. It's almost dead certain the whole show was recorded professionally (the "Alive In The Superunknown" CD-Rom featured "Kickstand" from this show in full). Every SG-Fan is praying this concert leaves the vaults. We'll have to wait.
Theres a Hype DVD, I bought mine off ebay, Soundgarden was pretty much the reason why I bought the DVD, and this part is in MUCH better quality, its awesome
Actually I had the Hype video in .avi , but about Soundgarden they only show exactly what we saw in this youtube-video . Hype is a video that shows a lot of bands from Seattle at 90's . (sorry for my english, I'm from Chile :P )

yeah the song loud love is just one of their best older songs!
that scream that chris gives in the beginning is amazing
then kim comes in wit a kick ass riff
then chris sings
but after chris is done singing every time kim just tunes up the volume 4 the guitar part
and shreds ass! love love love it!
