@tubetube1000 Whatever...All I know is it tastes great however it is prepared. I used vegetable oil and wild rice from Nett Lake, Minnesota, where it grows. Commercially prepared wild rice is what we connoisseurs call"paddy rice" and is poor in quality.
I tried this with jasmine rice but got mixed results. The very first batch seemed to do the best, having some puffy pieces. The next batches didn't puff much or brown. Could you tell us what temperature you use on the oil, what kind of oil, and how much rice you use at a time? Thanks.
@iwatcher69 I tried doing that with red rice by putting it in the microwave. The kernels cracked and got crispy, but didn't expand.I just got crispy kernels out of those that didn't burn.I guess it's a matter of temperature and air pressure caused by movement
This is great. Tried it tonight, and it was good. Thanks for putting this to video!

dont Recycle the Vegetable oil!
I can see it's black already (burned) that's not good.

Oh my god, this man's voice is hilarious. I love listening to him. If he had a cooking show, I'd definitely watch him over those celebrity chefs.
