@CBleck I used to play horde myself and I'm on their side of the political table. That said I have to agree with what you said. Varian does come off as a racist, faschist bastard for most of the time but as you said he has ample reason for it and he DOES make exceptions (see meeting Saurfang). Garrosh on the other hand needs to be strung up, beaten and fisted by a fel reaver. He's just looking to live up to his father's "greatness"

Varian has never tried to make peace with the Orcs, and Garona was under Gul'dan's control, it's not like she cared wether it was King Llane or not, she was just told to. Putress was a defects, a completely sepereate faction from the Horde, just like the nathrezim Varimathras. Garrosh is trying to live up to his father, one of the greatest warriors the Horde's ever seen.

Every time he tried some rebellious ass( Garrosh and Putress) or a mind controlled King killer( Garona) was there to mess it up. In my own opinion and you may disagree Thrall and Jaina are the only leaders who truly want peace. But I do agree with one thing Varian pretty much lives in a world where murphy's law rules.
