@eatmiyoling the calls are the same as when you type a number in, or dial from your contact list. if you have to pay for those calls, than you will have to pay for these also.

I tried it and it doesn't work for me. I get the message "Cannot Open Page - Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid. I was using Speed Dial #1 - #4 before, but since my iphone upgrade, it turned into 2 steps instead of 1. now it asks me if I would like to call or cancel.

Thanks Tang, up til know I've been using the free Speed Dial by Neon Surge. It gives you 4 numbers like that. However, I want the same function for doing instant SMS. Got anything that would work for that? And I sure wish I could change the icons into pictures of my contacts, without having to start a separate program.

There is no way of bi-passing this message. This is a safety feature built into the iphone software so if your surfing the web you dont accidentally call a phone number on a webpage.

To delete the icon just press and hold the icon until it starts wiggling and you will see a plus sign appear on the logo. Press it and you will delete it.
