  • Your review is awesome! every time I go to apply Latisse using your method, I think, Heidi is a freaking genius! Just wish I had seen your video before I wasted part of 3 weeks of the product. I am now in week 6 and length is definitely noticeable. The only disappointment is the places where I was missing lashes to begin with have not filled in yet (got the length just not the fullness YET). But the idea of one drop in the cap and using a liner brush is nothing short of genius!

  • Does anyone know where to buy the generic careprost online for canada?

  • Have you noticed any pigmentation of the iris or surrounding skin since you started using it? I've just started using it, and i use a clean finger to apply the product. I use Lumigan instead of Latisse, the generic product which is cheaper. Thanks for the video

  • @getmeakitkat No, I haven't had that, thankfully. I'd stop using it if I did. I am careful to get the product just along the lashes (and not on my lids or in my eyes), which is why I think it's been okay for me so far. You might consider using a brush to get the product exactly at the lash line and not around your eye area. Just a thought...

  • Nice! My eyelashes are so short! I want to buy it! :) thankx!

  • @prettylety I hope it works well for you!

  • Anyone that buys this product can definitly SAVE ALOT!.. Usually cost $130, can just cost you $59 at " Cosmetic Laser & Skin Rejuvenation Clinic ". Sale ENDS WEDS.. So better hurry. Just thought this would be helpful. Just gone COUPON & SAVING CRAZY ;D Hope this help anyone [:

  • Do you notice your lashes getting thicker?????

  • @shahaable Maybe, since they aren't falling out as quickly. Over all, a great product if used properly.

  • I haven't heard anyone talk about using it on their bottom lashes but I assume that you can and the results will be the same right? Have you tried to use it on your bottom lashes?

  • @boucoupthick504 It's not recommended for use on the bottom lashes. But after you apply, I'm sure there's a small amount of transfer that affects your bottom lashes a bit.

  • hey! how did you get to purchase the latisse? i've been looking for it every where!!!

  • @MissSonyalicious I bought it at a local dermatologist's office.

  • HI, You can buy Careprost is it generic Latisse for 11 from All day chemist , you can also bypass the whole using the brush and cleaning it by using an empty rapid lash bottle and filling it, good luck !

  • @AlienBeauty1 Thanks! =]

  • Are you still using Latisse? Have you noticed any changes in how it works over the last few years? Thanks! :)

  • @tmcatty1 Yes, I still use it and still love it. I only use it every 2 or 3 nights.

  • since you're not using the disposable brushes that comes with the product, do you clean your lash applicator after every use? how do you clean them?

  • @MsLipsxLikeSugar I probably should, but no, I don't. I don't clean any brush every time I use it, and haven't had any problems, but I would recommend doing what you feel comfortable doing. I'm okay with it...

  • Thanks, I gonna try it, your eye lashes looks fantastic!!!

  • @betzyluna Thank you!

  • thank you for your review, that helps me to decide to buy this product (for my mom, I have enough eyes lashes:D)

By the way, I love the way you express everything in this video, from the way to use this product properly so not to waste it n your experiences after using it...I really help me A Lot

    Thanks a bunch

  • @zin814 Thank you!! I'm really glad you found it helpful. If you have any questions (or your mom) please message me and I'll do my best to help.

  • There is a Very slight risk for darkening of the iris (the colored part of your eye) however, I was told by the manufacturer that the risk is mostly for people with dark eyes. It increases the melanin, which is why the lashes get darker. Since people with blue eyes have Very little to start with, the risk of your blue eyes turning brown is almost nothing. Dark eyes since they have more melanin, the risk is a little higher.

  • @winterstar31 That's good to know, thanks. Mine are green, but probably very much like blue eyes, right? I haven't had any problem so far.

  • thanks for sharing! :)

  • @MOO3223 Thanks for watching!

  • great video, just stumbled across it when researching latisse. so thanks

  • @boyrzr Hope the video was helpful. Thanks for watching.

  • i heard it makes your lashes grow in weird ways

  • @haleighbabe If long, dark, curled lashes are weird, then yes. :D (It hasn't done anything weird to me or anyone I know.)

  • @jalapena2007 well i am happy your lashes look good! :) i work at ulta and this lady came in and it made her eye lids dark and blue and made her eye color change but maybe it had to do with her age she was i am guessing early 70's but i dont know lol but your lashes look great! and you have beautiful skin!

  • @haleighbabe Thank you! I was trying to be a little funny. I think if you use too much or get it IN your eyes, then it could have that effect. If you're careful though, and keep it just at your lash line, you shouldn't have the eye darkening. I guess like with anything, you have to be careful. And maybe some people just have a bad reaction to it, I don't know. XO

  • Good that it didn't happen, but since the active ingredient in latisse is bimatoprost, it has the ability to minimize the fat tissue properties around the eye, it was shown in Some patiens using bimatoprost to treat glaucoma in one eye, and the différence concerning the fat atrophy was pretty noticeable compared to the non treated eye.

  • @MsAlmonda yes I also found that out and it did happen to me, but I still use it 1 per week.

  • hey Heidi, your video is sweet and interesting. I am on my 4th week on latisse after I have done tons of research, they were all okay for me to proceed and start using except one late research that few people know about, wich is fat atrophy (loss of fat around the eyes area) did you notice that your upper eyelid sulcus got deeper and that your lower eye area lost its fulnees? plz let me know, thanks in advance.

  • @MsAlmonda That's kind of scary. No, I haven't noticed that on myself but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it (no pun intended) and stop if I see it happening. Otherwise, still loving my Latisse.

  • I love this video u answers all my questions.

But I'm wondering y would u buy a product for so much nd den ur lashes go bak to normal .? U wasted a good 110 for no reason...

  • @Wowwowwabzy Well, I paid $50 for the bottle and it lasted for 10 months. So for $5 a month (less than a drugstore mascara) I had super long natural lashes. Totally worth it. Anyway, at the end of the day, all our makeup goes down the drain. Could say that's a waste too. But I don't think it is. Again, totally worth it.

  • I worry about your suggestion on using a make-up brush that you re-use instead of using the brushes supplied with the Latisse. The purpose of those brushes is so you don't get an eye infection. I'm a nurse, and I just recently started using Latisse. I agree with all the comments you made except about not using the sterile brushes supplied. All it takes is one bad eye infection and you are in BIG trouble.

  • @luckycharmrn I'm sure you're right. It just bothers me that the brushes seem to waste so much of the product. If they made them smaller, it would be much better. So far I've had no problems, but I'll be thinking of you and your warning if I ever get an infection. XO

  • @luckycharmrn I was just watching a video on Lilash and it made me think of you. That product comes in kind of a mascara tube formation with a brush that you use and re-insert each time. I'm thinking that's even more unhygienic than my method. Or maybe it has some kind of antibacterial ingredient? I don't know.

  • did it cause brown spots on the colored part of your eyes and did it make the eye lid abit darker

  • @brandon420z1 No spots on my eyeballs and it did make my lids a bit red in the beginning but not now. And I wear primer & shadow so it was always covered anyway. Totally worth the results.

  • Once you stop using it and your eyelashes go through a new stage in growth, do they go back to their normal length or will they always go in longer after you've stopped using Latisse, or will you have to keep using it after that?

  • @mysticmanification They go back to normal. Whatever they were before you started using Latisse.

  • Thank you for your reply. Yes I have used Lumigan on the lash line and it works but I have not used it for more than just 1 bottle so I should continue for at least longer to see better results. It does grow out but I stopped after 1 bottle so the result was just so so.

  • @carolinenie I haven't used Lumigan myself so I can't say, but as far as Latisse goes, you should see results after a month, but best results after three months. Regardless, I appreciate you checking out my video and taking the time to comment. XOXO

  • Actually,Lumigan which is the exact same product as Latisse also made by Allergan also does the same thing and it is 1/4 of the cost of Latissse.

  • @carolinenie Kind of, yes. Lumigan is a prescription medication for glaucoma or ocular hypertension and it's used IN the eye as a drop. If you want to avoid the darkening of the eye color, then Latisse is better since it's applied just on the lash line. Both product cause lashes to grow, thicken, and darken, which we all love.

  • your vid was the most helpful in deciding whether to try Latisse. I'm five weeks in and already see a pretty big difference. i use an Elf angled liner brush and it works great. thank you so much!

  • @yoshimotomartinez Oh that's great!! Thanks for watching and I'm happy you found it helpful!! Thanks for subscribing too! XOXO Heidi

  • Hi, thanks for the video. I am getting mine today and will be following your tip to make the bottle last me longer. Do you use it on your bottom lashes?

  • @studentLiz I don't use it on my bottom lashes (it's not recommended) but when you apply it and blink I think some gets down there anyway. Hope it works well for you!

  • Your so sweet : ) You did a nice job on this video. I found it very helpful and will be purchasing some now. Thank you!

  • @coffeebreak247 Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it. By the way, if you buy Latisse this month you should get a certificate to mail in and the makers will send you another bottle for free. I'm going to stock up!!

  • I´M USING LATISSE, AND TODAY COMPLETES 1 WEEK OF THE PRODUCT.

IS IT COMUM, TO GET A SENSITIVE FEELING IN THE EYE?

I´M USING FALSE LASHES WITH DUO GLUE ALL DAYS, AND I´M SCARY CAUSE I THINK TAJT MY LASHES ARE GETTING WEEK....

ARE DUO NOCIVE TO OUR LASHES? IS POSSIBLE TO USE EVERYDAY?

  • @annaxcx It is common, especially in the first few weeks of using Latisse, to have irritation on the eye lids. If you are worried, you might consider not using false lashes while you're using Latisse. I don't think it will cause any problems, but it could cause your lids to be even more irritated.

  • does your bottle say "lumigan" on it?

  • @TheBudman12345678 No, it says bimatoprost aphthalmic.

  • when you apply it what do you do if you put a lot on the brush and it gets into your eye?

i really don't want my eyecolour to change, so i'm quite scared of using the product

  • @TheBudman12345678 That doesn't happen often, but if it does I just squint my eyes to keep any more from getting in, and then I wipe my finger across my lash line to remove any excess. I use a very tiny brush though, and it doesn't hold a lot so it doesn't happen much.

  • Do you wash and clean you brush after each use?

  • @Viviana00 No I don't, since I'm the only one that uses it and I only use it for Latisse. I do wash it regularly, just not after each use. Never had any problem.

  • also i would like to grow my nails long and they are really short any advice??

  • @TheStubbornly Take a good multi-vitamin every day. I like prenatal vitamins by Nature Made, but you can take whatever you prefer.

  • i have been using latisee about 4 weeks now i do not see no change.

  • @TheStubbornly How do you apply it? How often do you apply it? You'll see the best results after three months, but pretty good results after two months.

  • my hair grows so slow and have been using ovation. i got the ovation cell therapy. i get a lot of nots in my hair after using this. I also get tons of tangles even the next day and find it does not really work for my hair have any advice???

  • @TheStubbornly Sorry, I'm not familiar with ovation cell therapy.

  • How much?

  • @231825 It sells for $110 plus tax, so around $120. Not cheap, but mine usually lasts nearly a year, so it's not that bad.

  • Was looking for Latisse online & saw that they posted your video there! :) I really think you are the sweetest lady of the Guru's.....you & Lanaindiana. Haha I know silly thing to write, but thats exactly what I thought when I saw your video on that page. Being a truly nice & genuine person is becoming rare thing in our world. You remind me so much of my best friend of more than 20 years, she looked just like you way back when (uhoh revealing my age) Your family are extremely blessed. xo

  • @dawnten What a nice comment, Dawn. Thank you so much. It's comments like this and people like you that make this whole youtube thing enjoyable. XOXO

  • where did u get the brush u used for this?? What size is the brush again?? is it a makeup brush or what?? I love Latisee

  • @TheStubbornly I use a mac 210 brush, but I would just look at the brush online (if you aren't sure what it looks like) and then I'd go to the drugstore and pick up a sonya kashuk or elf or something really inexpensive just for latisse. I am just using the mac brush cause I already owned it. You want a very thin lining brush so you don't absorb too much of the product.

  • I used latisse ( lumigan ) for 4 months and will never use it again. It turns your eyelids dark and wierd looking, and I also used it on my brows ( what a huge mistake ) .....I had these dark pigmentation lines where the end of my brow is. It looked almost as if i took a light brown pencil and went way past the brow line corners ( I was careful with the stuff too )..,.Thank God my pigmentation went back to normal after a few wekes. It`s not worth it.

  • @nikki6331 Oh that's terrible. I'm sorry that happened to you. I have had really good results with it and no negative side effects other than some irritation at the beginning. Definitely not a product for you.

  • Is it true that you have to keep up with.. If you completely stop theyll stop growing long?

  • @dccousagurl I used it for a year and then went off of it for about a year. It took a few months, but they eventually went back to normal. Then I started using it again about four months ago and they're super long again. It works as you use it, and go back to normal when you stop. After using it daily for 3 months or so, you can use it every 2-3 days to maintain.

  • GREAT tip on the mac brush! What do you use to sanitize your brush after each use?

  • @05AKV I don't - I just wash it when I wash the rest of my brushes. I only use it for the Latisse, and I'm the only one that uses it, so I don't feel like I need to sanitize it each time.

  • dear jalapena, greetings! I love your review and the way you presented it! I am a little torn between latisse& revitalash, which is also a good product from what i have heard! Do you have any input on revitalash? Thanks a bunch!

  • @TheIvankaa I've never used revitalash, sorry. I do still love Latisse, using it again now and my lashes are getting super long again. If you use revitalash, let me know how it goes for you. 8)

  • Thanks for the great tip about the brush you use. You said it's a 210 or 209 - what brand is it?

  • @wangela It's a mac brush. I use the 209 because it's finer than the 210, but either will work.

  • In response to lilgrlkissesnhugs, I work for an Ophthalmology practice & you are correct in saying Lumigan & Latisse are the same. Lumigan is a glaucoma eye drop used to lower eye pressure and one of it's side effects is eyelash growth. The formulation for Latisse & Lumigan are EXACTLY the same, the name Latisse was given to market the cosmetic aspect of the product. However, when you use Latisse you need to be careful not to get the drop directly into the eye because it can cause changes to y

  • @kauferr Thank you.

  • So i have a question. Once u get the desired results do you use it every other day or, use it Monday then wait til thurdsay to apply again? I'm barely at week 4 and I have already noticed results.

  • @imchiquitabanana I used it every 2 or 3 nights. So if I used it Monday, I wouldn't use it again till Wednesday or Thursday. Glad it's working for you. I'm all out and I miss it.

  • Latisse is really effective and comes with permanent results. It also saves your cost of buying artificial lashes and mascara time and again.

  • @lovethenewyou Good point.

  • @jalapena2007 The Latisse website claims the results aren't permanent. Your long thick eyelashes will eventually fall out (that's just normal for eyelashes), and new ones will grow back the regular length, thickness and color if you discontinue the product. But they claim you can use Latisse once a week once you're at the 16 week mark to keep your lashes growing long and thick etc.

  • @katherinec1003 Right. I wish the results were permanent, but they aren't. Mine went back to normal after a couple of months. I was using it a couple times a week to maintain at the end. My "good point" was to lovethenewyou's thought of saving money by not having to buy false lashes and mascara as much. Though I still bought mascara.

  • @jalapena2007 HI..Where we can buy latisse eyelash growth? Do you have a branch here in the Philippines where i can buy that? or it is only available online?

  • @nickfansclub386 I buy it from a local dermatology office (no prescription). I don't know where to get it in the Philippines, sorry. :(

  • @nickfansclub386 A dermatologist perscribes it,

  • How much did you pay?

  • @scorptale I paid $50 because I bought it from a friend who works at a medispa. Normally it's $110 plus tax.

  • Hi! great review on the lattisse. I was wondering if you still find that it is working the same as it has since this video post?

  • @lilgrlkissesnhugs I still love the product and maintain that it works wonderfully, but I'm not currently using it. I have to admit, I've been missing it like crazy lately. My lashes are back to normal, which isn't terrible, but they were soooo long when I was using Latisse. If only it wasn't so expensive...

  • @jalapena200 So they do go back to normal like before you've started using it, well that's a relief to hear. Latisse is way too expensive, I don't get the name brand latisse I get lumigan(careprost) from a site called alldaychemist. It is really cheap like 10 bucks a bottle, the shipping is expensive though like 25 bucks, so I buy 2 or 3 when I order, it lasts a super long time. It works exactly the same, the bottle is the same. check it out next time if you want, you'll save money :)

  • Have you tried the generic thats way cheaper called careprost?? Ive been researching on youtube and found the generic revews and its works the same.

  • @kaleena2006 No, I've never heard about that one. I'll have to look into it. Thanks.

  • If you use eye drops for high eye pressure your lashes will grow long too! Mine are fabulous from Travatan. That is how they found out about Latisse.

  • @kenikemikala Glaucoma meds do the same thing. Almost makes you wish you needed the meds to get the results. If only insurance paid for the latisse...

  • Amazing lashes!!

  • @alice0886 Thank you!!

  • I just picked this up this morning (Latisse) and got some great tips from your review- thanks for the info!

  • @maineseaglass Oh I'm so glad! It will bother your eyes a little at first (most likely) but it stops after a week or two. And then soon you'll have long gorgeous lashes!! You go!!!

  • I have been using Latisse for last whole year. I am disappointed! The after result was bad. Slowly 1 by 1, my lashes fell off, left with a few super long lashes from using the Latisse. For 10 mths they were getting longer. Now, not only am I walking around disappointed with only a few very long, but Latisse refuse to take responsibility to advise me next step, but to only say call ur dermatologist we will give you refund. The loss of my lashes no money can buy !

  • @DJCiaoBella I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope they grow back quickly.

  • I am attempted to try "lilash eyelash stimulator " soon...so many have talked about it, and none have mentioned any side effects nor any bad news like mine.

  • @DJCiaoBella I've heard that lilash works but it causes irritation. Hope you get good results.

  • You're gorgeous! (: and ur smile is beautiful! No homo, I luv ur vids! I'm a new subbie. And ur lashes look AAMAZING!

  • @babygurl11297 LOL - Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm so glad you subbed!! <3

  • Your eyebrows are stunning and you're very pretty. <3

  • @ifuseekamy Thank you so much! How nice...

  • @jalapena2007 Haha, I meant EYELASHES. I'm so stupid lol. You get it. :)

  • @ifuseekamy Haha!! Thanks again! <3

  • How much was it over the counter?

  • @jjdueck It's around $100, depending where you buy it. :S

  • @jjdueck Depending on the model and where you buy it, anywhere from $100 to $250. Thanks for watching.

  • I have been researching this product for a while I found this generic brand careprost for only 10 dollars on all day chemist dot com... After shipping it's a little more expensive but there are videos on that too and they have the same results... just in case anyone is thinking of buying latisse do a little research on careprost... it will save u A LOT!

  • @glorygirl920 That sounds good. I've been using the lash serum by loreal and it works really well too. So much cheaper and easier to buy. Thanks for watching! XO Heidi

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for the vid you seem like such a nice person

  • @steff8ryan Thanks so much. <3

  • thank you for sharing.

  • @betterlucknow Thank you for watching. :)

  • Thank you jalapena2007 for that wonderful review. I was always wondering if the product worked. You mentioned it makes lashes longer, does the product make them thicker? Do you grow more hairs or does it just continue off of existing ones?

  • @articspider I'm not sure it will grow more hair but it does enhance the lashes you have. However, please watch my LOreal Lash Serum video - it's cheaper and it works really well!

  • I started using it today!!! love your lashes

  • @MayrasMakeup Thanks! You're about to love YOUR lashes!! :)

  • Some other post said that they bought Latisse at Wallgreens! I love your brush idea! I too have noticed that the brushes that they provide use waaay too much of the product...I have been using my Clean finger!!! One drop does both eyes...love your idea better!!!

  • @tinytoes409 Walgreens? Really? I've never seen it there but I don't go there very often. That would be very convenient though. The L'Oreal lash serum is working really well too - I did a video on it if you haven't seen it. Nice gentle alternative to Latisse. Cheaper too. But they both work really well. Thanks for watching. <3

  • Thank you so very much for posting your review of this product! I'm seriously considering it and you have answered so many questions I had. It was really kind of you to share your experience!

  • @hanno357 That makes me so happy. Thanks for watching. XO

  • Hi Heidi,Your eyelashes look great. I have quick questions that I wanted to ask.

I already have very dark eyelashes but I find that they are very fine and short, if I were to buy this product would it actually make a differenece to my eyelashes in the sense that they would appear longer and fuller? As I dont think they can get any darker than the already are! Also, Im from the UK and not sure where to buy this product from- can I purchase it anywhere online?Best Wishes all the way from UK.

  • @manu0henna Thanks! It will work brilliantly for you then. It's best at getting your lashes fuller and longer. If your lashes are already dark then you'll love the results. Use it nightly for a couple of months. You'll see results by then. Once they're as long as you want them, then use it ever 2 or 3 nights. Use a little liner brush to apply. Don't use the brushes that come with it or it will go too fast. XO Heidi

  • very nice

  • @manu0henna Thank you! <3

  • how much was it ...? I want to buy this but on the website it said if you stop using it your lash's will go back to the way they were before. Is that only if you dont use it for the 16 weeks ?

  • It's just over $100. Yes, your lashes go back to their original shape after you stop using it for a few weeks.

  • @jalapena2007 you said they go back to their origional shape. do you meam that after using it your lashes would get shorter and less thick and stuff??

  • @tokiohotelroxyoursox I'm saying your lashes will go back to whatever condition they were in before you began using the product. Not better or worse than before the Latisse. Thanks for watching.

  • thanks for the review.. you have super duper gorgeous, flawless, perfect hair.. i was looking at it the whole time.. LOL!

  • Thank you so much. What a nice thing to say. Thanks for subscribing and watching. XOXO!!

  • I just made an appointment (no extra charges for the appointment--just having a nurse go over the product with me--only pay for product!). Can you describe the brush that you are using and where to buy it? I'm not familiar with what you were describing. That seems to be the trick in getting it to last longer.

  • I use the mac 109 or 110 eye liner brush. It really, really makes a difference. By the way, you can sell the latisse brushes on ebay - people buy them.

  • I already posted a comment--thanks for replying. How much darker did it make your eyelashes? That would be the primary reason I use the product. Several shades darker? I know you said you could now see them without mascara--which is what I want. I sometimes get mine tinted, which is expensive at about $30 plus tip; lasts for about a month. I would love to not have to get a consultation/prescription like you did, but just be able to purchase it at a dermatologist's office.

  • Hi. It made them a lot darker, but I wouldn't say it looks like I have mascara on when I don't. I would love to say it does that, maybe for some people, but not for me. But they are a lot better. By the way, I'm still using my first bottle - 7th or 8th month! I'd say it lasts a long time, which is nice.

  • Mine are strawberry blonde---barely visible! Mine are already long and curled, but I want them to be darker. I'm surprised that you have pale eyelashes since your hair looks darker, but maybe you've darkened your hair. Your eyelashes look great! I want to try this product too in the near future! Thanks for posting this.

  • Hi! Thanks for watching. I actually don't color my hair but for some reason I have very light lashes. The Latisse helps though! I'd love to hear how it works for you if you try it!! XOXO Heidi

  • should i clean the mac210 every night after using the latisse if i'm only going to use that brush for latisse and nothing else?

  • I don't. I just wipe it to make sure it's dry enough to store in my jar (don't want fluid seeping down into the barrel). You can wash it as often as you think is necessary, but I don't think every time is necessary at all since you're not applying makeup. Up to you tho. Thanks for watching. <3

  • nice review and did you wear mascara and curl your lashes on that video or that was all natural?

  • Hi. Thanks for watching! I did not curl my lashes but I did wear mascara. The lash growth products seem to add a good amount of curl in addition to the length and darkening. Bonus!

  • Very helpful. I did not know some dermatologist will sell w/o a prescription. And using your own brush is an excellent tip! Thank you.

  • I was surprised about that too, but yeah, apparently some do. Thanks for watching!! ❤

  • Thank you so much for posting this (: im korean and my eyelashes are very short and sparse! i've been spending about $30 a month for mascara, which is kinda alot for a 14 year old =/. Im going to ask to get this. However, what happens if you stop using it all together after you like your lash length?

  • Hi. Once your lashes get as long as you'd like, then you use the product every 2 to 3 days instead of every night. This maintains the length without having them continue to grow longer. I've been using the same bottle now for about 5 months! I hope you like it if you get some. Thanks for watching. <3 Heidi

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • Thanks for watching!! XOXO Heidi
