Very, very awesome. You captured the essence of Lynch in this score. The only criticism I have is that, the sparseness of music within Eraserhead - especially in this opening scene - was precisely what frightened me the first time I saw it. The fact that there are whole scenes carried with complete silence made for such a tense and ultimately much more upsetting mood.
But I really like this nonetheless. Very valiant experiment.
The thing that was so upsetting about Eraserhead's soundtrack wasn't the fact that it was silent a lot. Eraserhead was never silent for more than a minute or two. It's all the machines operating in the background. The machines, the wind, and all that other noise gives the whole place an overbearing, awful feel. You get the sense that the movie is about how all the characters are driven insane by the constant noise. Puts the whole thing in a new light.
