Great seeing the dead guard. Looks like he was beaten to death, so would've died slowly. Real justice. My friend's grandfather helped liberate one of the camps and told him when a German guard refused to help bury the dead inmates, a British officer shot him in the head and he fell into the same pit he'd refused to step into. What I found really beautiful and clever about the Buchenwald liberation was the decision by the American commander to force the local german population to enter the camp and see it first hand, fresh and raw, what was being done on their name and how they felt disgusted and ashamed.
