  • Awesome this must have taken alot of time.

  • Is Felix the composer too?

Has to be the first tech guy to actually be musically talented.

  • haha... i am so confused! how could someone dislike this.... WOW.... very awesome

  • So amazing pintsznifer!! Lovely dream..

At 4:25. How is that sound being produced???

And please keep posting new pieces if possible. I go to wonderland watching them. Thanks!!!

  • Your vision is just so beautifull!!! ..your magic give life in machines. Thanks for this moment!

  • jazzz

  • awesome Music electronik adventgarde robotism! wow

  • Nice one on getting signed! :)

  • Richard?

  • whoaaa mannn....my mind just melted

  • Around 4:00 is absolutely brilliant. Really love this sound.

  • Simply genius!! This is a brilliant piece of art/music.

  • very cool.... I can only imagine the time put into this machine.

  • This is possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Is that a little RC car motor making the squiggly sounds? Genius! And aside from the mechanical/electronical engineering wizardry here, this musical composition is about as beautiful as humanly possible.

  • the most mindblowingly pure geniousness i've experienced in a long time

  • to whoever built this:

WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU!

Amazing, can't imagine how long it took you to build.

  • Build something that plays native american indian flutes.

  • magical.. can't imagine how much dedication went into this..

  • Awesome, i loved it! Is there any way i can get more of your music?

  • WOW how have you made this thing?!

    that is so amazing!

    congratiulations from the netherlands!

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • Stunning. Absolutely beautiful. Conlon Nancarrow comes to mind i guess.

  • does it resond to midi?

    or CV?

    or something else?

    this is great, thankyou x

  • hey, just to say, what's CV? i wanna build one of these too, but am still working on a way of controling it from the pc..

  • you've probably gotten the answer somewhere, but anyway, CV mean control voltage...it can be more or less "any" voltage source, well it has some limits (0-5V it think but don't take my word ofr it), the simples being a voltage divider made with a potentiometer

  • CV is the old way synths talked to each other before MIDI came along...

    x

  • DAMN son! That is one of the craziest things I have ever seen! I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future...

  • so beautiful!

  • Are you fcking serious? this is awesome wow!

  • Awesome! Very Aphex Twin-esque.

  • this is so wild - it's usually either "inventor" or "musician" - but this time we have real convergence!

  • Oh. My. God.

    Awesome!

  • One of the most beautiful things I've seen or heard in a long time! Truly amazing.

  • absolutely amazing. The computer dictactes how the instruments are played...genuis. This video better become popular, the music's really good!

  • Fantastic...simply brilliant.

  • Wow...just: Wow. O.o

    This is amazing. ^_^

  • lol ahahaha what the fuk is that !!! wikid

  • i disagree.

  • Genuinely stunned - this is INCREDIBLE!

  • God, get a tripod next time, jesus

  • Dont watch this drunk... Man, the room is _still_ spinning! Well done man, mad props!

  • This is absolutely genius! Brilliant and inspiring!

  • i read you got signed to Warp.

  • i second that. Lucky You.:]

  • buang2!

  • Influenced by Rephlex's Pierre Bastien? Although I would say this blows his shit out of the water. Pretty amazing.

  • Bastien's tracks are clockwork, electricity and electronics are not involved. plus he's playing the trumpet and has a life of musical experience so watch what you say cleverdick

  • So its not exactly the same, but much of the same concepts are still there. I said influenced, which means taking ones idea and expanding upon in ur own way. not copying exactly. Please go around youtube some more correcting people some more.

  • props!

  • this gives me the horn.

  • that's amazing.

  • Im blown away. I think that was the most amazing music related thing ive seen. Well done

  • Wow - incredible!

  • that is amazing! you've spent a LOT of time doing that and it sounds incredible. Big up

  • Sounds like galloping typewriters! Interesting... now I want to hear it play some George Hamilton Green... perhaps "Triplets"? c'mon, you can do it! OK then at least "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies"! Great drum part, though! Perhaps it can be a TECHNO remix of "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies"???

  • That is absolutely incredible. I'm blown away by the amount of care and patience that has been put into this project. To say well done seems massively patronising!

How did you manage the timing issues with all those actuators having to be in sync?

  • what about the machine... did you use Arduino to make the machine?

  • I've used a MIDI to Parallel Converter - the sort usually used for organs. The machine is built mainly from a dismantled piano.

...uploading a much better film soon.

  • this machine will betray us!! :D

    nice work man!

  • this is one of the most impressive things i have ever seen, and the tune is moving. thank you very much

  • IMPRESSED!

(you'll needa bit of help with the DVD right? Mic it up nice, film it from a couple of angles etc. It'll be awesome!!)

  • This is incredible. beautiful music and an amazing machine.

    Whats sequencing it all ?

    Thanks for posting the video

    Simon
