hey, just to say, what's CV? i wanna build one of these too, but am still working on a way of controling it from the pc..

you've probably gotten the answer somewhere, but anyway, CV mean control voltage...it can be more or less "any" voltage source, well it has some limits (0-5V it think but don't take my word ofr it), the simples being a voltage divider made with a potentiometer

I've used a MIDI to Parallel Converter - the sort usually used for organs. The machine is built mainly from a dismantled piano.
