crazyfogfighter is absolutely right. 94 is only the internal number of this engine. they also have engines 92, 93... but at the scene it will be only engine of station 9 (=E9). on the radio however, the 1st engine will be called engine 809 (no matter if they use E92, 93, 94). 80 is for prince georges county. they put in service this radio system in case they need to go in the neighbouring counties and everyone will know where the trucks come from. the 2nd engine of 9 would be 809B.

Die Beladung der Ladders ist genauso mangelhaft, nur eben auf andere Bereiche ausgelegt.
Wofür die 2 Fahrzeuge brauchen, nutzen wir eines, das die Hälfte wiegt, 300PS weniger hat und sogar einen größeren Tank besitzt, und natürlich eine größere Besatzung hat.
I love emergency lighting, I can't deny it there is a little whacker in all of us. But too much is too much. A for effort but its just overwhelming to the point of mega redundancy. Scale it back a little, add some blue (But this is in Maryland, blue is hard to get away with for fire/ems) and call it a day.
Until people learn how to share the road with an emergency vehicle, I say the more lights, the safer.

It's E94, the forth Engine of station 9, but it has a 9 on it, it's station number
If another Engine from Station 9 is dispatched, it would be called 809B and so on

Aber auch ein stinknormales Engine in den USA ist völlig oversized, overpowered, overpriced aber underequipped, bis auf die Schläuche ;-)
