They make wath they make in their time you al red say it Rocochet, Phaedra, logos, Exit, Poland, etc, etc, etc... and they are stil producing... Theya re the master of electronic music ever...
Production-centric it may be, but I love it because it does exactly what I expect from TD i.e send me into another universe simply by closing my eyes. They've always done this for me, and this new piece definitely delivers!! Many thanks for a great post Pariss!
you are right,man. but some of the TD fans like to hear this and have in mind that its TD production and not some kind of nothing that we hear these days. you obviously dont belong in this part of fans. me too my friend. but i will always listen to what they bring us. but im not sure if i will remember it after 1 week. cheers!
Well I hear TD from the late 70's. They were pioneers and so many after them tryed to be like them. After a long long time almost 40 years and after continious production what would be the result??? Of course I respect them and I love them. But decade after decade I was less sutisfied. Phaedra Ricochet Rybicon... are legendary....and magnificent.
Metalworker if you only knew what Edgar does you woulkd appreciate him and his work . i guess pearls not understood. Is ok I can see eveolution from Tandream. How many can evolve like they have. NONE
There are very mixed comments about this one - I like it very much it is 'durchsichtig' - very clear sound effects - great rythms - great music - thanks.
There is something special about the older improvised stuff.........when listening to it ..it's an experience ..you can feel the heat of their old equipment ..you can smell it even...there are pauses and periods and not every gap is filled like the wall of sound being played above.. makes you can really appreciate the amount of shear effort, it took to create music like that in those days.

I think they lost it years ago ..just go back and listen to the original stratosfear..and you'll know exactly what i mean. This mess above, is too digitised.........over produced and sounds like every tune that's made these days minus the vocals.
Tangerine Dream was cutting edge up to the middle eighties or there abouts, when synths were still relatively new and mega expensive.........that times gone.
