  • That's how I impersonate joker!

    -conner z

  • the last one was good

  • Weird

  • Think About it! mARKHAMill... He's the Joker

  • *deadbynightupbylunch*, my bad

  • Deadbynightupchurch I totally agree about that last laugh, it was the best and could actually have fit in... Maybe mark hamil could do that for the new batman movie coming out (not Dark Knight Rises, there's another batman coming out in like 2014... Seriously. Probably WB trying to do a Justice League) :/

  • was that from Mask of the Phamtom?

  • Jack Nicholson is a perfect look a like but good joker, Heath ledger is a perfect joker but Mark hamill is the best animated, video game joker who has an insane laugh. My opinion Mark hamill is the joker. The last one is my favourite, I felt that laugh fitted in better (and it's my favourite laugh)

  • 0:24 hahahahaha that shit was funny hahahah!!!!

  • The only issue I had with Heath Ledger's performance was that he didn't laugh enough. I mean, there's a scene where the Joker breaks out of his prison cell, and he's escaping in the back of a car. He's got his head sticking out of the window, and Ledger is just completely silent. In my opinion, that would've been the PERFECT time to bust out a big Joker laugh.

Still though, he made an amazing Joker.

  • 0.26 made me laugh for about 20 min!

  • Hamill is perfect for the animated series and the videogame, Ledger was (perfect as) the real life Joker. Hands down

  • great, this videos annoying

  • hamill laugh is like he just have trolled you hard

  • Mark Hamill is the voice of the joker. Heath Ledger was hand down the best live action portrayal though. If mark was young enough he would have been him no question. With marks voice and Ledgers appearance and style you have one complete joker personified perfectly.

  • i laughed so hard for the interigation scene. the last one was awesome too

  • last one ave me chills so disturbingly good

  • @brianakacucuy THANKS

  • Those last two laughs were EPIC!!!

  • you're a punk motherfucker...

  • YESSS

The Last one "Dake Knight" Scene Should Be Edited With That Epic Laugh

    Ajajajaja

  • I gotta agree. The last laugh was pure gold.

  • The last one was the best. The low to high joker laugh was seemed right for it.

  • Hamill will always be the Joker in my 90's fanboy eyes.

  • Nice. The last two were absolute perfect. The absolute best scene in that film is joker falling to his death laughing like a maniac. Classic psycopath. Mark is a perfect joker voice and if the film was anything like what the original "dark knight" comic from 86 both batman and joker would be old and outta shape so hamill would be perfect for the role. But I know it's a origins story so that couldn't work

  • Well, Hamil is kind of too old to play the actual role imo. And he said he likes the voices better than actual acting since that way he can't be seen. Have you seen him when he does the voice? From what I have seen he scrunches up his face to help. Joker wouldn't be able to see unless they recorded the voice and... THEY SHOULD just record the voice and find someone that looks the part xD

  • Hamill has always said he prefer's voice acting because no one can see him. His body shape wouldn't be right for the joker, he's suppose to be tall and average weight or even abit thin

  • This is EPIC!! Especially the last clip. I would have been fine with the actual movie having Mark Hamill's laugh dubbed in!

  • too funny

  • mARK HAMill is the Joker.... end of discussion.

  • Both are scary and awsome.

  • Good effort, but still doesn't fit together.

  • @bellyflopman

I agree. The problem with Ledger's laugh is that he's not a natural laugher. If that makes sense. Laughing for Ledger seemed like a chore. He really has to put forth effort to laugh. Mark Hamill seems to do it more naturally and has a variety of different laughs.

But Hamill's laugh is too cartoony to fit in TDK. Ledger's laugh was dark and perfect for the movie, but he couldn't really extend his laugh like Hamill could.

  • I loved the scend one!

    WHEEEEEEEEE!

  • heath was a good joker but at times i didnt like his laugh i think tim burton was an iidot and shouldve let jack do hi sown spin on joker wouldve been way better hes a maniac

  • The Joker is without doubt my absolute favorite villain of all time.

  • EPIC

  • The last scene freaked me out. x)

Hamill and Ledger was both having something... Hamill is definitely the 'real' Joker but Ledger did a more modern performance and it was great too.

  • I still stand by my statement that I made on a different video

Hamill had the best voice for the joker

    Heath had the best performance

It's nice to see people trying to mash it up

    Love the last scene

  • wonder who is going to play the joker in the next batman film

  • @ItzADougquake there isnt going to be one :) Nolan said he isnt replacing Ledger :P

  • @CrazyBoutBillie i read somewhere that there was a new batman film coming however starring a joker , dunno - because Christian Bale (the guy who plays batman) stated that if Robin was to star in the new film , he would leave :D, i dunno man they might make a film but import another villain

  • @ItzADougquake They are making another film The Dark Knight Rises which comes out next year, but it stars Bane and Catwoman, the director isnt recasting the Joker role :)

  • @CrazyBoutBillie cool didnt know that , thanks

  • @CrazyBoutBillie oke but to ice the cake i hope you know the ridler is also in it

  • @shiniritchy The Riddler isnt going to be in The Dark Knight Rises, there was a rumour that he would be included but the director said they were true :)

  • @CrazyBoutBillie well i have been fooled by the poster in one of my cinemas there was the batman rises poster with a creepy ? sign on it so i thought the riddler was in it

  • Imagine that, the ''Voice'' actors. Have better vocals lol

  • mark hamill has the best joker laugh, no doubt, but heath ledger came extremely close, you almost cant tell the difference...

  • The last part was the BEST...good job linking it up

  • 0:54 - 1:05 Best. Laugh. Ever.

  • WAIT!! I forgot another best performance of the Joker. Masked of the Phantasm! If I posted this already, OOOPS!

  • WAIT!! I forgot one other Great Joker performance: it was in Mask of the Phantasm("You never know with all these WEeeeRDOS around....")

  • I didn't think I would agree with the rest, but yes, the last laugh surprised me. It's awesome.

  • that last part was the best!

  • to me best laugh is heath ledger it's more insane and crazy

  • @SystemFan20 I'm not clear on wether you think Hamill is a bad actor or simply not good enuf to PLAY the Joker instead of Ledger. I've always thought Hamill was fine actor. He has played another crazy character on the Flash series, the Trickster. He was practically playing the Joker then. Your opinion counts, too SystemFan. However, I say Hamill would have made as AWESOME live Joker. However(again...), Hamill looked rather old for the part by Bale's Batman, so...

  • @Velocity9s Not saying that Hamil is a bad actor, Im just saying that he isn't good enough to play Joker. He got original Joker voice, but just like you said Hamil is too old to be live Joker.. I don't think that Joker can be almost 60 years old when Batman is just and just over 30...

  • @SystemFan20 Well, yea...Now on to other Joker comparisons: Personally I think the Joker's physical appearence in J.L. was his best look. He was muscular, but not SUPER-muscular. His art was classy & consistant. Hamil's performance was top-notch as usual. But his best PERFORMANCES of all were in Batman:TAS-Joker's Favor & Harliquinade, J.L.-Wild Cards(Hilarious!) & J.L.U-Epilogue; an flash-FORWARD ep that features a grannie Amanda Waller and an adult Terry McGuiness. My personal opinion...

  • @SystemFan20 Too old, a young hamil would have been perfect

  • @dgtdsgn

"Too old" for some MTV fans but not in the movies! they would easily do the Batman movie where Bruce is an older etc but nowadays the film companies and some the filmmakers fear to make something different..

  • @SystemFan20 oh,i think he is

  • @SystemFan20 says you

  • @SystemFan20 Good enough isn't the right word choice...his body type isn't right for the part/he looks too old. His voice and laugh are perfect and he's a great actor, but yeah you're right some things still dont line up

  • @SystemFan20 Yeah he didn't really have the look, even if he weren't in his late fifties. I see his face and I can't believe he's anything other than a nice guy lol. Granted the Joker wears a lot of makeup for the part and Heath Ledger wasn't exactly the obvious choice for the part. Come to think of it, why DIDN'T anyone cast him as the Joker? At least try, anyway o.O He's too old now though :(

  • @SystemFan20 I think he could act a good joker, he just doesn't LOOK like the Joker, obviously. lol

  • @SystemFan20 lol, i wouldnt say hes not "good" enough. hes just a bit old....and fat...

  • @SystemFan20 its not that hes "not good enough", hes just not young and in shape enough anymore. back in his hey day, like right after star wars, he would have been perfect given the right supporting cast. Maybe Ray Liotta as Batman?

  • @Tactically7Dangerous "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a superhero". Yeah I can see it.

  • @SystemFan20 He is good enough, but he is a little bit too old:/

  • @SystemFan20 he could pull it off. HAMILL AS THE JOKER cameo in the next movie woulda been sweet... dont have to show much...

  • @SystemFan20 idk... hop him up on some sugar give him long green hair and paint him up like ledgers joker he might surprise us.

  • @SystemFan20 Good enough? No, wrong choice of words...*Young enough.

  • @SystemFan20 He can act, he just too old and fat.

  • omg the falling scene laugh was perfect :O

  • Hamill is much better.

  • hamills got the better laugh but leadger is a better joker as one

  • 0.28 i laugh at christian bale's batman voice too!

  • heath and mark are both extremely good but i can't compare them, after all there both the joker.

  • Omg, that was amazing. They should've got Mark Hamill JUST for the laugh. hahaha..

    oh wait...

    AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

  • that last laugh gave me chills ._.

  • Mark Hamill should play joker in a movie i would so go to see it

  • I would like to see Mark play Joker in a movie. He kind of looks nuts now anyway.

  • *head explodes from epicness* *hands type this blindly*

  • that last laugh was LEGENDARY

  • The thing is that next to his laugh, the whole movie becomes.. less, it doesn't measure up.

It doesn't mean that the movie is not great, because it is, but what it makes clear is how truly great Mark Hamills Joker voice is.

  • I LOVE how you saved the best laugh for last...that being the Joker's trademark evil laugh!!!

Also in terms of the Joker...for me it was Hamill was the best followed by Nicholson and then Ledger...probably because Joker was my favourite Batman character and i dunno I just didn't agree with Ledger's portrayal of him

  • @eba2294 Fukin AY!

  • See, as a fan of Joker, i love both ledger and hamill's impersonation of the clown prince of crime himself, BUT hamill's joker voice suit's HIS joker;

    and Ledger's joker voice suit's his;

I dont think the laugh looks right on Heath's Joker :')

but it was good to see how it would have looked!

    I <3 Heath's and Mark's joker laughs :D <3

  • heaths joker is not the same as hamills so u cant compare them i think

  • Heath and Nicholson can act, but you gotta bow down to the Hamill voice.

  • mark hamil is the best

  • @eba2294 sdtfu

  • I liked Heathe Ledger's Joker a lot, it truly was an awesome Joker, same goes for Jack Nicholson's. But I grew up with Mark Hamill's, and to this day, I respect and fear that voice and laugh, they compliment the Joker's actions in so many ways. I honestly think he'd have been a less memorable character without them, to me at least.

  • Mark Hamill should've just played the jocker.

  • Anyone else find the addition of the Hamill laugh to these scenes to be moderately terrifying?

  • the last one was fucking amazing

  • ok that was way creepy because heath plays a really phyco creepy joker. and i always thought mark hamhills laugh for the joker was the creepist thing ive ever heard so both of them together just sents shivers down my smine. i love it!!!!

  • Mark Hamill is the most true to the Joker

Jack Nicholsen is an old fashioned version of the Joker, more of a lunatic than a psycho. Instead of being evil in an insane way he's just insane

Heath Ledger is a gritty and down to earth version of the Joker, who to me seems to act more like the Crow than the Joker in most regards, but is still amazing

And the other Jokers don't merit a mention

  • @Murdock129 scary what u said that what i dont like

i think heath was cursed by the crow thats why he died

  • Heath as Joker seems like reality in a way

Mark Hamill goes well with the animated series

  • gay

  • it's videos like these that make me wish mark hamill was young again. owning all jokers voices from the past.

  • That... was awesome.

  • excellent choice of laugh for the last one good job

  • the Hamill's laugh is really good, but is a little cartoon's laugh, more from the comic, the leadger's laugh is more realistic.

I like both in his respectives formats.

  • I didn't realize that he laughed that much.

  • heath is better

  • @eba2294 fck u

  • Mark Hamill > Heath Ledger

  • @eba2294 not laugh and performance.

  • heaths was darker but when u hear marks all i think about is the original bcause he captures the phsycotic evil joker which seems playful yet darker than heaths at the same time if that makes since heath was great but mark is the best

  • heath ledgers got the physical part down and the mentality but mark hamils got the laugh and thats what makes joker joker

  • RIP Heath Ledger

  • @ 0:41 umm.... OK Heath you can stop now.

  • Comment removed

  • this shit is bad ass

  • To all the people who are saying Hamill is The Joker and no one else, fuck off! Each actor who portrayed the character is unique in his own way. How dare you even try to compare all the actors to see which one is "better"

  • Mark Hamill is better. Ha ha.

  • @Momentum139 No he's not. Both are just as equally good.

  • Yes, Mark Hamill is everyone's favorite Joker. He's my favorite, too. By far. But the point of this movie was not to portray the same kind of lovably kooky maniac as in The Animated Series. They intended to portray a much darker and more believable Joker, and I'd say Ledger did a pretty darn good job of doing just that.

  • @pvcnav LOVABLE ???? wtf... batman tas of the 90's,, had one of the darkest jokers of animation.. even to this day, when u watch the old movies they made of tas, like mask of the phantasm, and even retern of the joker,, i think that mark hammils joker is darker then heath ledgars joker, i hear some fans say that heaths was the dark joker or the psycotic joker and im like WTF ??, his joker wasnt even that dark, it was just a different style, and look,, THATS IT !!

  • @JOKAWILD26 Yeah, I see your point. Sure, the TAS Joker was dark, too, in terms of some of the things he did. But in terms of mood, there's no way you can tell me the TAS Joker, a children's cartoon character, was as dark as Ledger's portrayal.

(And yes, LOVABLE. Come on, who doesn't love Hamill's Joker?)

  • @pvcnav what does being a cartoon have to do with how dark it is ? 90's animation was very differ, u had shows like Ren and Stempy, and Rockos modern life, that were very controversal cartoons, that were protested at the time, batman TAS was very dark,, and if your saying he lovable cuz people love hamills joker,, then heath ledgers joker is lovable also, cuz their are tons who LOVE his joker, so he is lovable also, i honestly dont see ledgers joker as being any darker, but just DIFFERENT

  • @JOKAWILD26 Wait wait wait... Rocko's modern life was DARK? OK, clearly the problem here is we disagree on what dark means.

  • @pvcnav no i didnt mean rockos ml was dark SHERLOCK,,, meaning the difference in some animation of the 90's to animation of today, alot more controversial shit was put in, u had shows like ren and stempy, shows that were protested,, i said was does being animation have to do with how dark it could be ????, batman tas was very dark,, and ledgers joker is not any darker in my opinion, its just different,, not darker BUT different, and thats it,, most fan boys are to much on ledgers nuts to see

  • @JOKAWILD26 OK, Joka, that's your opinion and you're welcome to it. I still think Ledger was darker, though. Not better, just darker. But yes, it is only a matter of opinion.

  • You need to watch Batman: Return Of The Joker. The flashback scene...you seriously need to watch it. Harvey Dent had it freaking coming, hell, he was begging for it - trying to be Batman without a suit, but RoTJ Joker's victim is just...damn.

  • Hamill is the one and only true Joker. Heath was great, but didn't come at all close.

  • the last one owned

  • Hamill= Best voice

    Ledger= Best everything else

  • @bonslywizard considering that Hamil is a voice actor that makes sense

  • @bonslywizard Good one, Sherlock.

Since Hamill did only the voice anyway. :P

  • @bonslywizard Apart from the comical Joker, that goes to Jack Nicholson.

  • I still don't know who's bettr Mark or Heath? oh well but hood vid ;)

  • I think the lough of Heath Ledger is sounds more mad.

  • Perfect combination!

  • People always argue who's better: Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger...

The aswer is, and always will be NEITHER... Hamil is The Joker!

  • Ledger-Joker is awesome, but Hamill-Joker was the absolute best. End all be all.

  • if ledger did the acting only and hamill had done the voice-over the joker in this movie would have 110% perfect!

  • it looks quite funni cos his voice is a little low nd thn he comes out wiv dis reely high pitched laff!!! joker's voice iz breakin!!

  • lol. heath ledger + mark hamill's laugh = instant win

  • i think ew shuld say it like this, heath ledger is better on camera but mark hamil is better on voice

  • (cont. from previous comment) At first, there were no gags, no tricks, no "clown prince of crime" persona, just a genius intellect bank robber/serial killer with a neurosis where the parts of the brain that register things as "horrible" and "funny" were crossed. THAT is who Ledger aimed to be. While later in the comics they fleshed out the Joker's jester image more completely. THAT is who Hamill tried to portray.

  • Personally I think its unfair to compare Hamill's joker and Ledger's joker personas, and NOT because Hamill never physically played the character on screeen.

It's because they BOTH represent the pinnacle of what the Joker represented at different points in his comic life. (cont.)

  • lol "Why do you want to kill me?" "AAAAAAHAHAHA" God I love Hamills Joker and laugh.

  • Mark Hamill should actually play the live-action Joker...

  • hamil's joker laugh is haunting def. better than heath's

    love DCAU!

  • EXCELLENT!

  • @eba2294 nah it doesnt but his laugh does heaths joke is the joker check it ou

  • out of all of them the only ledger laugh i prefer is at the end just because it showed you hoe fucked up he was...it was just pure madness

  • keyth leger did a good job on the joker but i gotta say mark hamill IS much better

  • @RockerWolf100 i love heath r.i.paradise, ppl shouldnt compare its amazing that heath evn changed his voice having a aussie accent~

omg the laugh in the video,i remeber it off a cartoon

  • This is just awesome!

  • His laugh is like a musical instrument. It's great!

  • rofl i found this surprisingly hilarious

  • Hamils voice is amazing that laugh cant be topped ledger was okay but imo wasnt really joker but a 2009 teens wet dream of what badass means no nuance just an in your face terrorist.

  • To me, Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson were 2 good "Joker"... But I don't think of them when I think "Joker".

There's nothing out there that can match Mark Hamill's psychotic clown laughter.

...And, let's be honest, the most important thing about the Joker is the way he laughs.

  • here here brother. Here here. I'd love to see mark hamill play the joker in one of the movies. I think he'd do a damn fine job.

  • @Unicron4ever Hell yes. Without the laugh, there is no Joker.

  • @Unicron4ever Hamill has the laugh for sure, but let's not overlook the entire voice. His entire manner of speech as the Joker was terrific. He managed to instill a kind of Shakespearean pompousness behind the crazy, and it fit the Joker's ego perfectly.

  • @Unicron4ever But the point of this movie wasn't to introduce the new most classic joker. The thing I like about Heath Ledger's joker the best is his believability. He's like an independent mob who is...a little bit crazy, not a literal clown with white skin and everything

  • @unrealityproduction Heath Ledger's Joker was a good "psycho", but he lacked that dark humor that made you laugh about something disgustingly inhumane, despite your best efforts.

Overall, he was more "Hannibal Lecter" than "The Joker".

  • @Unicron4ever yeah i see your point, but Ledger's joker wasn't meant to be exactly funny. He was portrayed more as dark, demented and to some, very creepy or scary.

  • @unrealityproduction Yeah, but Hamil's joker wasn't exactly funny either. He was just as twisted, maybe more so. Case in point--Return of the Joker, where he tortured and altered Tim Drake.

  • On the second last the jokers laugh was used from mask of phantasm! :) well done mate

  • I enjoyed the last two scenes well done, mate!

  • Hamil had the best voice i always loved that it had a bit of a british upper class lilt of perfect puntuation mixed with the insanity and of course the laugh was amazing it makes Ledgers look like an amatuer.

  • Mark Hamill's laugh is psychopathic ...Nicholson's is crazy enough....but Ledger combines them in an evil and scary manner...Mark or Jack couldn't have played in this movie because it's too serious and bleak for any of their portrayals....their jokers were really good but too cartoonish....ok Mark Hamill's is from cartoons so no surprise here

  • well if u play batman: arkham asylum u may feel differently hamill HAD to portray a cartoonish "kiddy" version of joker because of their audience but he could play an evil joker deffinitly but not in a live action film

  • yeah...that's what I wanted to say....his Joker voice is awesome but he wouldn't be that good if acted....Heath is surely the best Joker ever

  • but heath is worm food now, so i think hamill should work out a bit and do the next Batman movie

  • sorry....but hamill would ruin the Batman franchise...if Nolan would want to recast someone as The Joker..that person must play the same character as Heath....and Mark Hamill can't do this...maybe no one can do this..

  • hamill would do a great joker, since he already has experience with the voice and also acting as the joker, and the joker has always been different in every movie, nobody could act the same as jack nicholson, heath ledger, and all the other jokers in the past, and heath was a good actor but he was not the best, so everyone should cut the whole "let's ride the dead guy's dick" so much,
