  • The stunts in Just-Cause 2 set it apart from virtually any other game! If you have never played it at this point, you need to move over to JC2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ) and pick up the zero cost copy of the game. It's well worth the dl. Believe me, you are going to like it!

  • One last thing: I'm a CONSERVATIVE, and i have no reason to lie about Sean Hannity -so, if I say he and his crew got out of whack ...well, they probably DID!

And, if I defend the concept of socialised healthcare, it may have merit -not that i trust the AMERICAN gov't to do it right ,but just saying.

-Read this ALL YOU LIBERALS!! - I was DEFENDING Socialised Healthcare when Hannity's staff all went off on me -so, I am nonplussed and perplexed that many of you would doubt me or get ancy LOL

  • you just asked a very clique question that he's probably tired of constantly debating with listeners. and the call screener just plainly didn't like you because you asked an anoying question in an annoying voice. and there's no time during your conversation with her where she said it was too touch of a question for sean hannity. get over it and move on.

  • 'clique' question, Brett? Healthcare *is* a topic of interest & very much on-topic. * Tired of debating with listeners? Well, maybe Mr Hannity needs to get another line of work. Actually, I think it was the call screener who had the problem with my question, not Sean, so let's not blame him -he's dumb enough as it is -than for you to go off on him without justification LOL * First, it's spelled too 'tough' -but hey, we all make typos. Yes, it *was* too tough: Her actions speak louder than words

  • @GordonWayneWatts The call screener had a problem with the question because she knew that sean was probably tired of debating the same topic over and over again with another caller. It's boring when you say "I want to talk about health care with Sean." it just makes you come across as another redundant caller that has nothing new to say that's any different than any of the other callers. finally, you came across as being unsure of yourself to the caller making you seem like a waste of time.

  • @Brettwbeyer14 - Thx 4 replying - at least you try 2 defend yr point. -Actually, I WAS unsure of my point, and that is why I called in -to ask Sean to make the case AGAINST Socialised Healthcare -Since Japan's Socialised healthcare program (1) CO$Ts less, (2) Has LOWER cancer rates, and (3) LONGER life-span than America -which, on my personal website, I explain in detail (click on the 'Hannity' link on my front page news) --but the Screener got chicken. That's not my fault.

  • @GordonWayneWatts i haven't looked at your link yet, but what you are saying does not make any sense. lower cancer rates? Im sorry but you can not control the amount of people getting or not getting cancer in a given time. that has to do with external factors. Longer life span? that's more likely due to lifestyle and can't be measured directly by healthcare. It's very arbitrary. and you claim it costs less, but most people in this country are happy with their own healthcare.

  • @Brettwbeyer14 -yes yr right that Cancer Rates/Life Span r probably more privatly influenced & less due to public policy but be that as it may Japan's model DOES cost about half as much than our model and gives better care, so the opinions on the public are moot. Just for the record, Japan does incorperate some 'conservative' principles -such as socialising only hospitals but allowing free market to private doctor offices & capping MedMal lawsuits, but that does not exonerate the callscreener

  • @GordonWayneWatts It is fundamentally wrong and more importantly unconstitutional to enforce something that funds government without public option that goes beyond the governments enumerated rights. America is a mixed bag for everything. that's apart of the beauty. Where we have lessor healthcare, we have businesses that have better. the american dream is taht we can work our way up to getting the best especially when we are older and are at greater risk for disease.

  • @Brettwbeyer14 -I agree that it's probably unconstitutional for the US (& might've been a good answer for Sean) but my question to him was on the more general question of the merits of socialised healthcare in general -while somewhat moot, nonetheless the general concept of socialised healthcare is a good point to consider when discussing that topic, for it answers some of the critics with a well-rounded response.

  • @Brettwbeyer14 -- one more thing - their program was so desperate for 'liberak' callers that they called ME -and several others -as I document on that section of my website.

What happend here can only be explained by them thinking I was 'smart' and would embarass Sean -especially in light of the fact that they go looking for liberal callers to 'balance out' the show and give Sean easy targets to make him look good.

  • She didn't say, or even remotely hint, that your question was too tough. I'm not saying you're lying, but you've got nothing at all to prove it, so your upload is basically worthless.

  • OK, perhaps I was wrong; nonetheless, no other analysis seems more logical to explain her behaviour. The question was not off-topic, and I had not done anything to provoke her or lead her to believe I would go off-topic. *** If you have a better explanation, I'd like to hear it. ((At least you use some dispassionate logic to make your point, unlike Krysanth below, whose only arsenal was emotion.))

  • Well, one can only speculate, but I'm sure their phones are ringing non-stop with several people juggling the calls. Questions that get through should be (but grated aren't always) interesting, unique, compelling, etc, etc. Maybe they thought you were just some random guy calling in to rant with nothing new to say. I'm no fan of these neo-con pundits, but they're very used to the key arguments from the left, and train themselves to have answers. I doubt they thought your question was too hard.

  • @dookdawg214 w due respect..DUDE*She's* the one that asked *me* to come onto the show &specifically asked me to ask a 'liberal' question; she was good with it until I guess she figured out just how hard it was *By the way I document my claims here by showing not only a fuzzy caller-ID, but & more importantly showing evidence/testimony that this screener called *other* people "looking for liberals" to supposedly balance the show. Visit my personal pages for documentation & proof of my wild claims

  • First of all, I didn't hear anything about her or anyone else say anything about the question being too hard. -And I don't blame her, I don't like your voice either.

  • @Krysanth - I appreciate your feedback ThumbsDown notwithstanding, but you didn't READ: I didn't say she "said" rather, I said she "deemed" which is true: Her ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN HER WORDS. Secondly the timbre of my voice isnt relevant: I spoke clearly. Since youre the well-spring of knowledge, Krysanth, why dont you tell me why its Ok for the screener to fail to keep her word -or rather do you support dishonesty AND! rudeness??

I am Gordon Watts, and I approve this message.

  • OK, you're right about Hannity in specific and talk radio in general. LOL I had to learn my lessons the hard way. However, regarding Schiavo, case law on next friend standing is clear. As if this were'nt enough, Jesus wants us to help our neighbor -even help our enemy. Terri was certainly better than some namelss enemy. Let's put it this way, Chris: Let's say you were hundry and naked, and lost, and homeless. Wouldn't you be glad if someone helped you out here? Terri deserves no less!

  • You seem to think that radio shows are about debate and they aren't, they are about ratings. Do you honestly think Hannity cares about anyone out here in the real world or even if there is socialized medicine or not?

Why do you feel it's OK to intervene on behalf of a family you don't even know? Who in the world are you to decide who stays alive and who doesn't? Pro-life isn't about life, it's about CONTROL and you prove it.

  • FOX always unbiased..............LOL!

  • Yeah, and the worst part about it was the fact the call -screener was worried *only* about ratings -and not about getting their show's message out.

Ratings are important, but that aren't the *only* thing.

BTW, I run into common morons in both conservative *and* liberal conclaves -it is not unique to Hannity's friends. I only hope that Hannity himself would not have done the same thing his call-screener did.
