did u make sure your anti virus programs didnt delete some files? happend to me before so i had to re-download it and also if it still doesnt work try downloading from a differnt site. I got mine to work on fileplanet but my friend had to use gamer shell

The concept of combat in Shadowbane is unsurpassed. It's execution is not. The game is point-and-click amongst other things that are considered out of date now. The thing about Shadowbane is that PVP actually MEANS something. More than something, it means everything.

well in SB their are guilds and nations... to forma guild you just gotta but a piece of paper, fill out your crest and come up with a sweet name... for a nation your gona need some coin ^_~
i played wow and SB (first SB then wow then SB again) and IMO wow is prettier but less fun and 90% of the players are either kids or dicks
if memory serves the serves are Braialla, Mourning, Redemption, Vindication, Wrath, and the Test Server, i play on Vindiction, its the "lore server" IMO you should start on the test server (double xp and money) so you can quickly level, ask questions and get a feel of the game without looking like a TOTAL noob to your would be nation :P and the serves are up for me

Shadowbane is probably the best pvp/seige mmo there is, but given there isn't a lot of those type of games out there, that's not saying alot.
If you can get over all the problems the game has it's really enjoyable. You NEED to find a guild right away though.
