I disagree with the preaching but flying for aid is a admirable thing, I feel like these people make christanity look depesrate traveling to remote places to spread the word of god c'mon!!!!
I agree, what gives someone the right to goto another country and tell people living simple lives in remote areas, that they can have aid & support if they become Christians... it's immoral at the highest level!
Tomosan2888, with all respect the remoteness of someone's abode has little to do with anything. If one thinks they can live in the world today without being somehow touched by the global community they are mistaken. I'm not entirely sure how this particular missionary operates, but yes, when one gives aid, one usually attaches a certain idea or ideal with that support. But let's be honest, is it possible you have a chip on your shoulder?
@ashton10012, the reason he is there is BECAUSE of his 'ideals' which are based on the statement "love your neighbor as yourself". My honest question to anyone who would question the motives or actions of a missionary is, have you lived where he/she has lived and seen what he/she has seen?, because if you haven't, you cannot criticize.
@Tomosan2888 , to you as well, where did you come up with this crackpot idea that the indigenous living in remote areas are living nice, simple lives? I suppose that you as well have been to the Amazonas of southern Venezuela and seen with your OWN eyes what is going on there? Doubt it, which makes you a coward who speaks from ignorance, unless you would like to continue this discussion...
What an amazing trip. It would have been great to have some commentary about the trip and what it was like. Love the little kid trying to push the aircraft.
@FFTVAviation I am the missionary pilot flying this plane, not sure how this portion of the video got posted to youtube, but if you are really interested, get me an address and I can have the original DVD mailed to you. The reason for the offer, is your comment about the little kid. She was our daughter Mikeila, but she passed away January of 06 here in the jungle.
Nice plane, great piloting skills. But I think they should be used to transport something a bit more useful than a jesus movie. :(
I'm not judging anyone's religion, but do we westerners really have to assimilate all the people in the world into the same greedy, materialistic and selfish mass as we are.

Most jungle pilots use them... same reason as wearing a seatbelt.

Its not being desperate they do it because God wants everyone to hear the message, remote tribes included.
