I think the song lyrics mean that even though she's not in love with him she's in lust with him and that she would rather have fun with him than be alone. Why not take hold of something when you can. The fun they had together will last longer than either of them separately. I think it's a beautiful song, with a sad undertone but even though it's not exactly perfect she'll die with no regrets
I never realized how sad this song was until really thinking about the lyrics. While the music makes you think it's maybe a romantic song, in actuality it's quite melancholy. She's basically saying 'You should just fuck me and we'll both feel better since there won't be a relationship made out of this. Hurry up while we're both horny and care enough to even go this far.' At least, that's the way I translate the lyrics which is still haunting with the music and delivery. Beautiful.
