this is an extraordinory movie (in my opinion)....it's so down to earth and has a sort of realism to it that is jus so beautiful....i'll defineitly recommend this to anyone....it really had me wanting to make some major changes in my life !!

If you like this one, I recommend also the Italian film "Malena". Another one involving teenage boys growing up and falling for an older woman, but it's truly beautiful.

Excelentisima pelicula, siempre veia en el canal FOX que daban el comercial de que la iban a dar y me intereso verla por eso mismo. Soy argentino, como tal, les digo mexicanos que tienen una muy buena peli los felicito!!! me encantan este tipo de peliculas, aquel que le interese ver una estilo ésta pero Argentina, busquen la del titulo FELICIDADES. Eso si les aconsejo no verla solos en noche buena.

Only one of the teens came from a wealthy family. The other one was not; He lived in a messy apartment with his family.

The whole point of the film was to show that they were immature, but grew up at the end of the film (the coffee shop scene); Their experiences on their trip changed them into responsible adults.

The point of those sex scenes is not to get you off but to point out the fact that those teenage boys are so confident in their ability to please women when in fact they know nothing about what it takes (they're uninventive and come too quickly). And that in turn speaks to the larger idea, which is that they're both utterly naive. You probably didn't like this movie because you didn't bother trying to understand it.

@kondurperusix Another example of how you weren't paying any attention when you watched this movie. Like snivellusfriend said, only one of the boys was rich, the other was poor. That disparity was some of the reason for their conflict, and when they got into fights the rich one would throw derogatory slang terms for poor people at his friend, while the poor guy would point out that the rich guy's father got that money by exploiting and stealing from the poor in Mexico.

This was a very enjoyable film. Also, one of my all time faves is 'The tit and the moon'.

I highly recommend it. Not only does it harbour the most perfect woman (to me) with the perfetc set of breasts, but more importantly, the story line was awesome.
