This will not happen! You have to email TOEI in JAPAN, they reserve ALL rights to SAILOR MOON! They have restricted all right to air sailor moon anywhere other than JAPAN!!! So buying the DVDS wont do anything, email TOEI!

okay, Dic Lost the license and Cloverway lost the license because they didn't want to renew it. Sailor Moon S and Super S did not get good ratings, plus people constantly complained about how either the show's "bad quality music" or the relationship issues between Haruka/Amara and Michiru/Neptune.
Because of this they pulled the plug and if it did well it would have been on the air longer. So either there wasn't enough interest for people to watch or all the people that are/were fans don't have cable.
On a separate note Toei Animation pulled Sailor Moon products off the japanese market as well for the promotion of Pretty guardian sailor moon so the show isn't even in japan anymore it's locked away in some safe, sadly.

They're mostly bootleg though. :\ It doesn't really matter anymore since the legit sets are long out of print, but the bootleg quality is horrible and that's why you should go for the real sets. I know, I have the bootleg set of PGSM and disc 5 doesn't even work, so take that as you will.
Where I live I can't find them anymore, the only time I can watch them is rent one from the library(1st season) and rent them at Blockbuster. But buy them thats a different story. I'll keep looking for them but if somehow I come across one(dout it) i'll get it.
I did get S from Ebay. I'm just saying that if you want one of the ADV/Geneon sets from Ebay, you're going to have to be prepared to spend a LOT of money. If you don't care about quality and don't want to spend a lot, then you'll probably want to go for the bootlegs. I don't have any except for the PGSM set, so I don't know how good they are, but I'm sure they're not the greatest.
They CAN'T, but they do anyway. Occassionally Ebay will go through and purge the bootlegs, but more often than not there are more fakes than real sets.
Buying the DVDs is NOT easy. Trust me. It took me about two years to find S, and even then I had to pay $150 for the thinpack set. The last set I saw on Ebay went for over $200. I was lucky enough to get SuperS for $70 and Classic/R for $50 apiece before they went out of print. Just be warned that you might have to be prepared to pay a lot for legit, authentic R1 sets. :\ I still have to find just the SuperS movie, and even those are going for a lot.
I agree with you. I told everyone at the video respnse to this that the dub was bad and they got all mad at me. Sailor Moon isn't coming back either because Toei doesn't want to let Americans or Candians have becuase they ruined Sailor Moon by making for 8 year olds. Oh by the way we tried this years ago! Nothing happened. I think I'm the only on that remembers S.O.S (Save our Sailors)
It just bugs me that people say, "Oh, just go buy the DVDs!" I worked my butt off for almost three years, looking for sets that weren't crappy HK bootlegs, and my collection STILL isn't done. People can't tell the difference between the bootlegs and the actual sets, and that's why they think finding good DVDs is so easy. I think I'm going to make a site detailing the differences between the bootleg sets and the actual sets.
Sailor Moon isn't off air because of a lack of support, but because Naoko Takeuchi won't let anyone but Japan have the lisence to her show. So, buying the DVDs won't really have an effect.

I have seasons 1-4 in English. :D
Season 1 in Japanese is the ADV boxset.
Season 3 in Japanese/English is the Geneon Boxset.
