This guy has no soul...but he's fairly technical and spot on tempo with the grooves...fills could use work on their timing...and overall playing i suppose. He is dong what a drummer is supposed to do though....this is probably pretty close to what SOAD's drummer looks like in studio...Very controlled, very standard...the trick is getting technicality and control with passion. Often times if one is headbanging too much, they begin to lose focus...I know I do. Good drumming. Keep practicing man!

thats pearls session series line..more intermidiate to advanced kits this one was 6 ply maple wood and i think it cost $2500 this is only the cost of shells, no cymbals, no hardware and snare drum cost extra i just bought the same one also to match it. so um maybe go with a pearl "form"...comes with everything which for about $700 and its the beginner serieis.

your playing is really stiff. also, on the "da da da" part in the beginning, dont go, Crash, Splash, China. Just go Crash, Crash, Crash. Also, use some independence between the double kick sequence and the ride in the verse. Just use straight 1-2-3-4 on the ride with triplet patterns on the double kick. These small things matter, but other than that, good vid, just clean up your style and try not to be so stiff, be animated, it grabs people's attention.
