So i'm pretty spot on in terms of this tone, However my tone seems really dark, i'v done the obvious eq and what not but just cant get the tone to cut through how you have in a really clear and precise way. Was wondering Honestly If you would mind sharing your eq and compression settings? i have the eq you use in the patch its self. But i was wondering if you used any eq or compression on your daw software and would be willing to share?

@JRxPHANTOM You have to understand that the DAW does not change the sound whatsoever unless you change the bit-rate of the sound driver when which it is being recorded. Every DAW does the same, but Audacity does not have as many functions or plug-ins as Pro Tools does or Logic Pro and so on. And it might not sound good due to: Cheap instrument cables (Mogami Gold or go home), cheap guitar/pickups, and so on. Everything affects the sound.

Now how did you program the Slate drums? I use slate as well and ALWAYS track live, but for home use I;d love to use slate and not use superior. But Ive never found a way to program slate samples since it runs through a transient detector.

@TombstoneCity26 I use a mix between Sturgis Samples and Slate Samples. I just acquired Sturgis' cymbals, toms, and snare, but I use Steven's kick because it's hefty. This mix right here features mostly Slate though.

Hey, this may be a stupid question, but do i need to have an actual line 6 POD to record with podfarm, or can i use my digitech multi effect pedal to run my guitar to it?

@GuitarPlayerSkater1 It's not a stupid question at all. I was under the impression you had to purchase a Line 6 device that came with PodFarm in order to use it on other interfaces, but you MUST run it through a UX interface. Otherwise, PodFarm will not run.

@JustinShreds pod farm 2.5 runs off of any interface now though, although there are some bugs in it running it on your desktop. Simply using it as an insert though, works fine with any interface :) was so glad they changed that

@JustinShreds haha yessir. i also use a firepod. running it on the desktop, like i said, has some bugs. i first tried out using pod farm with my firepod on my desktop and had to look through forums to figure some of the bugs out. but works flawlessly as a vst.

@JustinShreds haha you if you have a ux2 and a firepod you can track guitars with your firepod with any version of pod farm. just leave the ux2 plugged in your computer as a dongle and load pod farm on a track and have your firepod routed to it. and bam

@xXGameFanXx No.. Basically all of the amp models are already on the device (GX/UX1/whatever) an buying the model pack just means you get a licence that unlocks them on your device... So theres no way to torrent them or anything like that :/ I've tried :P
