@TheColaPrince No, you don't kind of. Just watch the Killzone 2 ending because the beginning of Killzone 3 starts immediately after Killzone 2 ends. But if you do take the time to play through Killzone 1, 2 then 3, you'll find that Killzone 3's campaign would seem a lot better ;)

@TheColaPrince the story can be found online. short, the helgast attacked vecta but templar and rico and two others stayed behind to figth them. they won, then in killzone 2 templar is admiral of the whole fleet and they attack helgan. but their fleet gets torn apart and the helgan admiral kills templar but he crashes his ship into the helgan defenses. then rico kills visari and the ISA is stranded on helgan.

Question: I bought a ps3 a few days ago. I have a beast of a TV and everything looks great. But always when I start a game on the ps3 it switches from 1080p to 720p what's the reason for that? I played a lot of xbox 360 and there are all games upscaled to 1080p...isn't there a built in upscaler for ps3? or do I have to change the settings somwhere?

@pricture Actually Battlefield 3 has better environments than Killzone 3. Its more of a destructible game where you can destroy stuff and its so epic!. To be honest though KZ3 has a bit of a pile mud artwork graphics. I'll give Battlefield 3 a 9.5/10, I'll give Killzone 3 an 8.5/10.

To be honest, Killzone 3 has a weaker story than Killzone 2 does. And KIllzone 2 has better graphics than KIllzone 3 does. You see the comparisons? The colors in KZ3 were really interesting thought since the colors in KZ2 is kinda all greyish in every mission you play. But Killzone 3 has a better multiplayer than KZ2.

Overall my favourite thing about KZ3s story was Malcolm McDowell as Stahl, The rest of the story was ok but not as great as KZ2. KZ2 had alot more production time though. But hopefully KZ4s story will blow everything else out of the water.

@VirusesX01 Its on the game website. it gives a history of the events leading up to the war. what most people fail to realize is that when the history was written, it was written in the Helghast point of view. so most's opinion was based on opinion. It does briefly mention that they were terrorists and economically choked earth out of greed. I fail to see how they are the good guys, but that's my opinion.
