Sorry...that's not entirely true. I heard 'Gotta Be Somebody' a few months ago and I was worried that the whole album was going to sound like that (you know, soft and poppy)...but I was delighted to hear songs like 'Burn It To The Ground' and 'S.E.X.' on the album. So yea their still great even if they have gone more mainstream.

Gotta be Somebody is not pop. It just seems that way because normally nickelback songs are either heavy or grungy. Or then again maybe ure right, as a common misconception is that the 'old nickelback' were really good, and the long road is the pinnacle, but if u wanna describe it in that way, the long road was written by the new nickelback, as the old nickelback were much grungier and sounded like Creed (listen to their first single, Fly, n you'll see what i mean)

Come to think of it, I didn't really like Gotta Be Somebody as much either! Now the album plays together ok because I got use to it, but in the beginning I use to skip that one song XP
