  • i guess they didn't have money to rehire Biehn to play the role of McNeil again :(

  • This is free to download. I've been doing the NOD missions cause i can't seem to get thropugh the Ion storm without losing my engineers.

  • Most of the GDI military personel really needs a proper pair of military uniform and a proper set of kevlar helmet, kevlar vest and oxygen mask instead of gay khakis and bulky helmets. They look more professional like in Tiberian Dawn and C&C 4 not like in Tiberian Sun and C&C3. It's kind of odd that the GDI high ranking officers in Tiberian Sun is the one that wear something right not like the rest. Nod on the other hand, their oufits are much coller than the GDI khakis.

  • The actor who portrays Tratos in this scene is Patrick Bauchau. He played the role of Dr. Sydney in the tv series The Pretender, and also had a recurring role as the vampire elder in Kindred: The Embraced.

I have to admit I'm rather bummed that they seemed to write off Umagon's character in this scene. Add to that the destruction of the Kodiak....bugh.

Also, watch the vid carefully and you'll see the M41 Pulse Rifle from Aliens making a cameo in the hands of one of the GDI soldiers. :)

  • Use the force Doctor Gabriella!

  • "We're under heavy sniper fire..."

So take your helmet off already!

  • Save me Obi Wan.

  • 0:15 may the tiberian will be with you, always.

    :D

  • All your base belong to us 0:21 xD

  • Don't let GDI get their hands on the Tacitus, just like in the end of Kane's Wrath where they almost destroyed it.

  • General Cortez is White Hispanic :D

  • no, he-he, starcraft wiki says that adjutants as well as EVA are completely artificial

  • thought it seems Terran Adjutant is a cyborg, not a computer entirely...

  • me too!

I wonder why they didn't do visual appearance for it? (as they did for CABAL).

I suppose the appearance of EVA could be similar to that of the terran's Adjutant in Starcraft ^^

  • @quietus11

    Because EVA doesn't have one:)

A tactical computer doesn't need a visual appearance right?

They only did it with CABAL because he had to look 'creepy' i think xD

  • I love EVA's voice in Tiberian Sun!

  • 1:13 the rifle from aliens

  • i still don't understand what is with this ''tacitus''...it's present in all Tiberium war games

  • The Tacitus was an ancient artifact, that contained informations about the Tiberium, and about the universe. It hold Scrin knowledge, this is reason why Kane wanted it soo much...With the Tacitus he would have limitless power...Kane's Wrath was a cliffhanger, becouse the final moment was that Kane install the Tacitus to LEGION...With this, he made something...it's possible he made a bad act even for his own plans...Who knows what LEGION did after that...

  • Cheers! Now i finaly understand the storyline

  • begin constructing the Marked of Kane

  • the ''tacitus'' is the key to everything. only cabal and tratos can translate it. the ''tacitus'' is from scrin. all the information of tiberium is in the ''tacitus'' so if you want to win in a world full of tiberium you need the ''tacitus''

  • hmmm...nope,the knowledge tacitus holds, and the material it is made of are far beyond even scrin technology,as revealed in C&C 3

  • gdi stinks long live nod

  • The Soldier at 1:15 has the Pulse Rifle from Aliens D:

  • ur right he does!

  • You really need to play both sides to get everything. In Nod we see the Tacitus in pieces, but don't know why. The Kodiak's crash is probably the reason.

  • it's just me or GDI and NOD last misions from the original tiberiun sun happen the same time cause in the first GDI mision of firestorm the Kodiak is lifting of from that Nod pyramid from the last GDI mision and they lose contact with the philadelphia wich is destroyed at the last NOD mision.

  • MY foavorty ship is kodiak and now SHE DESTROY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Tiberian Sun was awesome. CNC 3 sucks balls.

  • I agree with you on this, Flakes.

  • HAHA 00:17 ITS BEN KENOBI!!!!!

  • holy shit it is xD

  • @LaJin9292

may the tiberian be with you

  • I still questioning about Michael Mc NEil?? is he dead in that crash???

  • He was alive and kicking during 3rd Tiberium War. He led GDI 22nd Infantry Division in the Novel.

  • The Concept of Firestorm is that you're McNeil; but you're not aboard the Kodiak when it goes down. If you listen in 2:02 you can hear McNeil talking to Eva. But that is the only reference you ever hear of him during the game.

  • That was Commander Cortez yelling when their EVA Unit lost connection link with the Philadelphia's EVA Unit.

  • Mcneils budy went to the 7/11 in the sky oh man i can't belive i said that

  • i love every single one of teh CnC game cept for Generals and its bastard spawns. CnC without FMV is like MGS without Metal Gears!

NUFF SAID! keep the fmv alive EA

  • power to C&C FMV

  • Truth be told, I think EA could have done a lot worse in C&C3, which turned out to be a great RTS game. And Westwood? A lot of people don't know this, but after they got "murdered," they went on to form a studio called Petroglyph and made Star Wars: Empire at War, which had almost unplayable MP. And their newest game, dubbed Universe at War: Earth Assault, well, read up the reviews, play the demo, and try and bash C&C3 again. That's all I have to say.

  • Universe at War got good reviews.

  • Pff, EA still fucked up badly, and I could also attest to that with Battlefield 2.

  • So tell me. How is C&C3 bad? b/c the game is actually fast enough to play online? b/c it actually makes sense to make infantry this time? b/c UI is much refined? I would say that SP was pretty dull, with dull music and all, but if you look at Supreme Commander, a great RTS with unimpressive SP experience, and after Sim-City Societies, a game I can just cite review scores to tell how bad it is, I think it's damn impressive EA actually cared to make C&C3 a good game in both MP and SP.

  • Unfortunately, the game is too fucking unstable to boot. There have been major incompatibility issues primarily with multiplayer, and whatever patches are available tend to screw up the game more than it could help. As it is, fixing is only available for programmers. Westwood games, I do not recall the games crashing on me on my older PC and yet Yuri's Revenge and Tiberian Sun have crashed on me on my current PC multiple times mainly because my specs are "too high" (i.e. XP not working well.)

  • 6. It's not my opinon, but plenty of people didn't like McNeil being the commander instead of YOU. Not me, though. I loved TS franchise's SP experience. Firestorm was THE FINEST, great FMVs and all. But like I said, I HATED the MP and many others agree.

You may say who cares about MP, but even at TS's days, the focus of RTS genre shifted to multiplayer. So games like Generals, which had bad SP but had best MP in C&C games to date, actually makes sense; it shouldn't have been labeled C&C, is all.

  • Uh, the point of having a good single-player campaign is so that we can get longevity out of the game. Multiplayer has nothing but artificial time limits on it. If community stops playing it, the game is permanently dead.

BTW, I have played Generals, and have seen nothing but "Rush, WMD, disconnect, repeat" in 2005-2007, and this is someone that has a top of the line PC and a cable connection to boot.

  • 5. Unique elements such as Ion storm, blue tiberium, and tiberium critters, although very unique and nicely fitting in TS's singleplayer experience, didn't work in multiplayer. Why? In mutiplayer, especially in RTS, only thing you want to be unpredictable is your opponent. I had disruptor drops and mammie drops ruined by Ion storms, foward bases blown to hell b/c of random explosions, and when you lose a match because those factors worked against you, well, that's not good experience.

  • 3. Awfully slow multiplayer. I can count the times I played a full match of multiplayer in TS in Westwood Online without significant frame-rate drop.

    4. Units that messed up the way how each faction should play. Combination of carry-all + disruptor/mammy II made GDI a prime midegame drop/harrasment faction, while Nod artillery made Nod a midgame turtler. If you don't see anything wrong with that, then well, there you go.

  • But I'll elaborate on my claim. So, here goes.

    1. Units like hunter-seeker that totally ruined the lategame experience. Seriously, a unit that kills a random unit/structure in one hit?

    2. The Voxel engine, which made system requirements to the game much higher than other RTSs at the time, and still failed to produce any substantial graphical prowess or gameplay innovation. Only thing it did was to slow down the multiplayer to almost unplayable level. Seriously, Westwood, what was that?

  • tiberium wars is just plain bad.

  • Like I said to the other guy's comment, try and say something more than just "plain bad," because gameplay-wise, especially in multiplayer, Tiberian Sun was awful.

  • EA owns shit

    EA fucks up games

EA turns the fucked up games into their games

    EA pays the studios

EA turns them into EA Games instead

    EA Games: FUCK UP EVERYTHING!

  • Wow. Another mindless EA-bashing. So immature, but fitting, considering your age.

P.S. I have been playing C&C since Tiberian Dawn, and I am very, very grateful for C&C3, which turned out to be a great RTS.

  • Ha, I've been playing since dune2; The REAL beginning of CNC. What can I say? Well, EA is destroying the industry. A once great series (CNC) is now un-original, over-done and plain trashy.

  • If you would, can you enlighten me on how exactly C&C3 is "now un-original, over-done and plain trashy"? Don't get me wrong, I think C&C3'sGDI FMVs left A LOT to want for, and there were and still are some issues to work out; but seriously, is it that bad?

  • Certainly, I can see where you can come from. Hell, there are so-called hardcore Armored Core fans bitching and whining about new control schemes that actually make sense! And C&C3 did leave out many things that made Tiberian Sun a treat to the hard-core fans. Plus, I am totally aware of the trend where EA buys a great game franchise along with the studio, and makes another EA studio to create a totally shitty sequel that completely destroys the prestige of that franchise.

  • So, it's easy to see it that way for C&C3, especially after Generals, a fine RTS that never should have been labeled C&C(in a way, it's like the new Dodge Charger. But that's very American analogy, ain't it?). Yes, I am not trying to mindlessly defend EA, as I am opposed to mindlessly bashing EA.

So please, elaborate. I am ready to listen and be convinced.

  • What the fuck is the tacitus.I mean I have cnc 1,RA2,generals and cnc 3 but tiberian sun went way off course.

  • big scrin weapon that blows crap up. end the world weapon.

  • The tacitus is a data storage device that holds info on tiberium.

  • Well.... May the Force be with you

    lolz

  • Ahhh papatine/Ben kenobi!

  • That general guy at the end looked like Micheal Ironside in C&C3...

  • for some reason he reminds me of George Lopez

  • He really sounds like some starwars jedi doesn't he

  • he LOOKS like palpatine! XD

  • who?

  • Tratos

  • oh, now i see it.......

  • that is just basically the emperor

  • No, Palpatine is alot uglier.
