  • 1:59 is how i run when i have to take a piss

  • Could somebody please explain me why exactly do you do that? No seriously, and especially this species, as far as I know they´ve got high level of mercury so not for a tasty meal obviously..

  • i caught a leopard the other day at carlsbad! :)

  • hes a buet

  • how many pound lines u usin??????????? NICE FISHING!!

  • Nice catch. You can catch 'leopards anywhere from Mexico to Oregon off the beach, from boats, in bays, even brackish water. Its next to impossible to get bitten, unless you put your fingers in their mouths.

  • hey nice catch mate. oh and do i press the red button, mmmmmm, good question lol

  • Did they throw it back!? I hope so. Poor shark...

  • Nice. I caught a 4 1/2 footer right in front of the army navy academy a few years ago. I love so cal surf fishing! Im getting ready to go out right now, just waiting for the sun to come up!

  • dude nice man! and in cbad?! props!

  • Nice. my PB is just over 5ft. i cant wait to get back to socal and hit the beach again. try getting a squid, hollow it out and cut off the tip so theres a small hole (for air to release) then stick a sardine inside it (head first so the tip of the nose goes to the tip of the squid, and that hole will allow the air to escape) then cut eh tail end flush with the squid body, hook it up and send it out. it also works in cut sizes, but the sharks and rays love it!

  • Haha the red button didnt work did it?

  • what bait did you use? ive always wanted to catch a leopard shark.

  • wut was your setup? and does anybody know wut is a good setup for leopards?

  • what bait did you use

  • I always go surf fishing in malibu. havent had any luck shark fishing.. what bait were u useing and how did you get it out there?

  • that chick behind the camera sounds hot

  • do u use steel leaders?

  • @Eric2827 not needed for these

  • awesome job gettin in the water and rippin it out

  • I just need some help.

am new to fishing, I just want to know a good surfing reel that would handle 80lb line braid and I'll use it on a big surf rod for sharks.

also If u can tell anything about a rod as well I appreciate it

any info any type any kind of info will be good.

  • @ gallito... Surely dude u are not saying that a tiger shark and leopard shark are the same

  • what bait did u us?

  • cool...man i live in socal but idk where Carlsbad is LOL ....but hey any advice on rigs and bait ..for surf fishing for sharks? :)

  • Good size catch, BTW, Leopard shark meat taste so SO good!

  • tiger shark (leopard) and salmon meat kind of equal., very good for made ceviche

  • hahha lol and your gunna get that hook out of its mouth? really haha lol

  • how do u cook these things??

  • what pound line were you using??

  • what did u usse for bait

  • what size hook and what bait did you use?

  • do you need a permit for surf fishing in doheny beach ?

  • @chumptimestw0 NO permit required, just a california fishing license

  • I was gonna ask if they have teeth as well. Because if they had anything sharp in their mouth I would have to say the guy going in grabbing him was a lunatic. Here on the east coast a 5 pound bluefish will give you a trip to the ER if you try to pull a stunt like that. Not to say you don't have your share of toothy beasts on the west coast as well. But while watching the video I thought these folks must be insane or very dumb, didn't realize they didn't have choppers.

  • cool. Bigest leo for me I caught right in carlsbad too, about the same size as that one.

  • These taste great, but they are just too pretty to kill.. even when i catch legals, i toss em back.. Id rather keep shovelnose instead..

  • r they in ventura? whats the best bait to use?

  • we catch on average 5 leopards on the outgoing tide in the bay area CA from our favorite pier... they range from babies up to a good 4 1/2 feet...

  • I was going to send a pic of of "monster" leopard thinking it be small but damnwas i wrong! nice fish

  • thats a big ol' leopard. got quite a few of those up this way

  • Nice leopard. They are all over the San Francisco Bay, Tomales Bay estuaries up and down the coast. I use squid when fishing for leopard's but have caught them while fishing for halibut on chovies, sardines or while using ghost shrimp for sturgeon. Watch out when you catch a nice one because they can turn on themselves like a snake and bite you or give you a nice tail whip.

  • yeah they are all over northern california shoot you dont have to try to catch them up here

  • do you know if they live in north cal?

  • were did you catch this bad boy...

  • Southern California, down at Carlsbad.

  • this is kind of a stupid question.... but do those have teeth? im going fishing in a couple of weeks for those

  • Not a stupid question, yes they do have teeth, but not like what you would picture a shark to have. More of a heavy grit sand paper.

  • @Billabonga101 yeah the teeth are there a little bigger than sandpaper they can still get cha a little. the biggest teeth on these things were no bigger than a pencil eraser. They can cause a little bit of an issue for your leader if you are using a medium mono leader. I was using some top grade 50 pound leader just to be safe...but the teeth kept wearing it down after a few bites. it eventually got to the point where when i set the hook it would break. so keep replacing your leader

  • do you life on the north coast? look like humboldt.

  • sorry didnt read description

  • Wonderful leopard shark!

  • Nice one! What you use for bait? Live Perch?

  • lols.....that's a pretty big leopard shark.......damn.......the one that i caught are only half of that one....hahhaha....but then......i did have fun catching them cause yeah......caught like 30 in 1 hour...hehehe.....yup.....hella fun.....welp....keep up the good leopard shark fishing...

  • This is why I do go into beaches.. >.>
