  • I kinda like it that The ENTIRE World hasn't caught on to him After all, he IS special! He belongs to the lucky ones - us - treasure him and the memories he's helped you create . (This doesn't mean that at times I not mystified by 'people today'. HOW have they not noticed him? Then, I turn up the volume : the gift of Loaf, and am grateful.

  • @BabsieWhoFan I agree, I love MeatLoaf so much but sometimes its hard to talk to my friends about taste in music because unfortunately i was born in a younger generation (i'm only 16) ,its quite funny how my mother keeps up with current trends and current musicians, but i on the other hand get overly excitedwhen looking through cassetes and vinal in second hand stores :)

  • He can put superhuman passion into anything that was created by superhuman passion. This is an almost psychotic and oblivious fit of a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e sincerity that creates the crystal essence of any art. He is above the sick commercial realm of popcorn art by light years. This voice is an absolute tribute to any musician he wishes to glorify.

  • Excellent! thank you for being commited to putting these hidden B-side gems up for all to hear.

  • This is great

  • I just shot my load.

  • Awesome

  • this guy has it all .imagine beatles singing bat out of hell. fucking no chance. beatles will allways be cheasy pop band .who had no competion.in there day.scouse shit . live and let die .guns @ roses. say no more.

  • I think this is a very good version.

Although I still think Meat and Jim need to do one more album to show everyone how it's done.

  • @JamesMMcCann TOTALLY AGREE!!!! :-D

  • hey you all seem to know a bit bout meat loaf... a few days ago there was a live song of meat loaf on radio... with some kind of boys choir, but i can´t remember the name of the song, can you help me?

  • @Richy563 I would suggest it is likely to be "Testify" from the Couldn't Have Said It Better album in 2003, more specifically the live recording he did with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and a boys choir. Of course, if you could recall any of the lyrics you heard, it would be a lot easier to guess which one you mean!!

  • @Richy563 Either Testify or Is Nothing Sacred

  • Ok, I, as a huge Meat fan, gotta admit, his voice does not fit to Beatles songs. Sounds kinda like as if McCartney sang Bat outa Hell...

  • @Hattakiri Clearly you have different ears to me then. I think he sounds great doing this song, as well as his version of "Come Together"

  • @Hattakiri I feel totally different about that. I think his voice is great on the song! So powerful! But I do agree that Paul singing BOOH would be something strange.

  • im a big meat loaf fan - seen him 8 times. but this, and the other beatles track from the B Side of Dry Eye are the worst things he's ever done. Awful.

  • @heavencanwait84 Couldn't disagree more. His voice sounds fantastic and is as live as it gets. I think it's a great version and you're the first one who's had a bad word to say about it.

  • @heavencanwait84 Clearly, you haven't listened to his album "Blind Before I Stop"

  • in primary school i performed this song in a assembley after i heard this version by meatloaf and i sung it just like he did

  • good cover, no match for paul, but good.

    eric burdons version is interesting.

  • Hammer

    Besser als das Original!!!!!!!

  • Interesting version

  • Das ist so wunder wunder schön, muß gleich heulen!

Thank you so much, is is wonderful!
