@anthonymarsh1 what am I talking about?? lol more like wjat're you talking about?! Im referring to Nightmare Before Christmas (NBC) the Tim Burton movie from 1993.....Batman Returns came out in 1992. I think you're just confused here lol
Danny Elfman is a genius, Hans Zimmer did a great job on The Dark Knight but in Batman (1989) and this film he really captured the dark personality of Batman and all of the other villians.
@Gojira2012 I know. It's not just the soundtracks though. The Dark Knight is amazing and everything, but I feel that Tim Burton and Danny Elfman created the 'real' Batman. The way it should be.
@CountryBoyRoby It was the fact that it wasn't too dark, and Bruce Wayne was focused on Batman , even when in his personal life. Also, it wasn't too dark, and wasn't too campy. Just right.
@958933 Wrong movie this is Batman Returns with the Penguin

totally recreated the entire fight scene in my head
especially love the ending, right before he finds the Penguin:
one clown jumps out of nowhere, and without even breaking his stride, Batman knocks him out and throws him away
then the strongman shows up, daring Batman to try and hit him; the punch doesn't faze him, so Batman stuffs a cartoon time-bomb down his pants

@opus289
If you listen carefully, there's a reprise of "Making Christmas" from NBC. It's hidden in about five or six areas on this track.

@Ncomicsandvideos Plus they reminded everyone that Batman is not Adam West, but a dark, violent, even insane vigilante.
