When the song first came out, I was not impressed. But now I love it. Especially on Playground Psychotic. But this was very nice. Great Job! Brought back memories.
I wish it was all on one track... saw all three parts and I am very impressed. I listen to this song on every long car ride, it's a beautiful story. LOVE IT!
doesn;t seem anything like the Band from LA as I recall, but it's good to recall anything. Big show of hands to the guys that had nothing better to do...Here are my hands!!!!! All 3of them. Being 57 and not on acid...still mind-boggling
Magnificent! I saw this performed live many many many years ago and you've done it justice. Amazing - totally reverent yet completely original. Great work!
this was my go to album when i came home high...which was nearly every night!!!it got me thrown out of the house as a senior in high school and out off a few shared apt.s . but i still can't get enuff.

Eric... I am really blown away. This is quite amazing. Frank would be proud, being a huge Brian Wilson fan. You captured the humor and the spirit and the vocals are spendid. Congratulations. I hope this leads to something bigger for you. Cuz I'm guessing you don't date much. You have to ask, as I have over the years, "Where is the market for this shit?" and the answer comes back... "There is no future in comedy music, moron!" But the a cappella aspect puts you in a league of your own.
@kaylancom I'd buy that for a dollar....Comedy Music? As a musician myself I see this as a masterpiece, not a ditty...I'm available for session work...Fa di ad di ah da....XXXXX
@kaylancom I didn't know Frank was a Brian Wilson fan! I for one considers them as the two greatest composers of the last 50 years. Do you know more precisely about what Frank Zappa thought about Brian Wilson?
fair-humming on air: ... geolollogy, mwuhahaha, what come next? an empty pizza carton gets rocketed all the way through the closed window, over the garden hedge, onto the neighbour's flawless lawn? chukka, how could you refrain the background choir of prancing dwarves from hitting the high ceiling all the while? All in all a spectacular try... whistle-drizzle... ya, a light shower of pilotes.

It's "the inland empire" not "the England empire" I guess you would have to be from that part of California to know any better.

@janajoad1 Knowledge of Californian geography makes this song 500% funnier.
