I see two stupid things in this video, no thumbs grip, which is extremely dangerous, also, no spotter when pushing for extra reps. Lucky the weight didn't drop on your neck and kill you
@OKzs there is no advantage to using no thumbs, but it does make the bar more easily to drop from your hands and crush your neck. This is what happened to the runningback foro Florida I think, it almost killed him. I'll bet, almost every weight accident on youtube is a result of no spotter and/or no thumbs grip, aka, suicide grip

I see two stupid things in this video, no thumbs grip, which is extremely dangerous, also, no spotter when pushing for extra reps. Lucky the weight didn't drop on your neck and kill you

@OKzs there is no advantage to using no thumbs, but it does make the bar more easily to drop from your hands and crush your neck. This is what happened to the runningback foro Florida I think, it almost killed him. I'll bet, almost every weight accident on youtube is a result of no spotter and/or no thumbs grip, aka, suicide grip

@SuperLlama25 bull shit, there is absolutely no difference in benching with and without thumbs except for you trying real hard not to kill yourself, if you want to target your chest use a wider grip. If you go no thumbs, chances are you are using a slightly narrower grip, which will cause you to use your triceps and inner chest more
