  • Invest in a Power Rack. And worst case scenario, you're not using collars, so let one side dip to spill the weight and the other side will take case of itself instantly thereafter. lol

  • @mtbkbmt I don't like that method.. It's loud, potentially damaging, and the sudden drop of weight on one side, causing fast leverage to the other can cause more injury than simply sitting up with it.. Just my personal pref.

  • @nausuki123 preference, and it could be different feel for the muscles. some people use a suicide grip which is a thumbless grip because they feel it more in their chest. so yeah. hope this helps buddy

  • @OKzs there is no advantage to using no thumbs, but it does make the bar more easily to drop from your hands and crush your neck. This is what happened to the runningback foro Florida I think, it almost killed him. I'll bet, almost every weight accident on youtube is a result of no spotter and/or no thumbs grip, aka, suicide grip
