When it comes to materials, sometimes you need to find and use what you have laying around the house, for example, a toothpick or needle can be used instead of a dotting tool. Acrylic paints can be used instead of polish, different sized paint brushes for small detail work etc.

@ameliarules378 LOL just practice, years of doing my own nails. This design is pretty simple, there is no special tips that I can think of other than keeping the outer ends of the stripes thick, while the inner tips are thin..looks more realistic that way

@JessicaSyMone they do take a bit of practice. The trick is to use a light hand. But the great thing about these tiger stripes is that if they are a little wiggly, or some are thicker than others, it just adds to the look! Don't doubt yourself, you can do it!
