  • @zadkie104...i totally agree. Masta Ace and Kool G Rap are both underrated. He has a newer song called Little Young and I like that.

  • Classic 90's New York beat! Early 90's rap from New York was the best rap on the planet!!!

  • Yeah Master Ace is waaay underrated...I actually like this better than the original.

  • @TheNjTurnpike To each his own, but they are both great jams from a missed era...I'm sure we'll agree on that

  • G Rap one of the most underated!

  • Proper hip hop beat love the old skool...A hope it comez back 1 day :)

  • MASTA ACE <33333333333333333333333

  • People will forever the debate the state of rap and Hip Hop. I even wrote a thesis on it. Fact is, that this music is eternal and inspires me everytime I listen to it. So big up to dese guys wherever they at, cause they inspire and have inspired millions. WHA WHAAAAAA

  • "So save your breath and exit stage left/ but treat before you meet defeat and treat death..." Who nowadays can come with lyrics like this?

  • g rap is goat

  • Bdk destroyed it on the original, but ye G rap definitely had it on here

  • g rap did kill it.

  • G Rap was so bad, he could make a lisp sound tight. Even the Spanish King who forced the whole country to speak ssspanish with big sssess probably didn't exist.

  • G rap killed it, my fav rapper for ever

  • thats not Shan, thats Kane's brother Little Daddy Shane. And Kane wasnt in this video because he was injured

  • gutted

    wat did he do?

  • omg,is that mc shan after kane?and where the fuck is kane??

  • the truth man, Kool G Rap is insane, my favourite mc along with Big L both don't get/got the credit they deserve

  • @TupacDaDon big l is dead.

  • @TupacDaDon Exactly.

  • @TupacDaDon The two greatest ever, indeed!!!!

  • yeah yeah gheah. big daddy kane was too big a star to be in this video, he was too busy doin coke and trying to get parts in films like basic instinct, while these cats here are spittin fire in a scrap yard.

  • He was on tour with Patti LaBelle when they filmed the video. I remember that ish.

  • oh you thought i was serious? haha ok. i was half joking- half because i'm sure you heard the 'prince of darkness' album he droppped around this time-very hollywood. and of course this was also the period of his career that he was hanging with madonna. sure he was on the patti labelle tour (on coke trying to holla at sharon stone's agent) the day they filmed this.

  • boaah einfach nur fette !!

  • Masta Ace is so underated!!!!

  • Amen X1000. Monk....

  • @zadkiel04 lol isnt he?? what a shame

  • @zadkiel04 Hell yea Master ace kicked off the dopest shyt

  • @zadkiel04

no hes not he's a legend. underground dosnt mean underated

  • @ghostface2006 True enuff, I get what your saying. But I still feel he's underated because his name rarely comes up in ANYBODY's top 10 or whatever. Even when alot of people refer to his era, his name is always left out. That "Take A Look Around" was one of the most versatile, complete, and well executed albums of all time as far as hip hop is conscerned in my opinion. I just wish people would be exposed to that album so they can witness what I witnessed.

  • kool g rap one in the million!!

  • billion.

  • i think bdk wasnt f^^^ing with the juice crew then that why he wasnt n the video

  • btw any1 know why BDK isnt in the vid, but for some odd reason his lil bro is?

  • this is true hip hop, rawest hip hop track ever made.

  • that jacket that G Rap has on is too dope!

  • Damn I would love to have that.

  • juice crew nah but we still rock together........

  • I dont like that fat guy that always pops up with his squecky voice.

  • thats marley marl that was puffy b4 puffy

  • that guy is the most legendary DJ of all time.

  • Comment removed

  • G Rapp rips it.....

  • hip hop at its best

  • What about this track? Classic Marly Marl banger! Still the first is a bit better. This is a nice follow-up though.

  • The original of anything is usually the best. G Rap cuss too much so most of his verse was edited. Kane wasn't even in the video. This was my first time hearing the song and seeing the video.

  • i miss 1991 to. I miss going to magic mountains dance club and watching people house dance to hip hop instead of house music ! I had the jabo overalls with the guess shirts and watch lol.. The stiching in the clothes would glow under the black lights and would really look cool while dancing :)

  • kane and kool g fuckin ripped it!

  • damn member when i first heard this. was waitin for g-raps verse. He Murdeeeeered it

  • Kool g rap riped it.

  • hahah, you said it!

  • gotta love this track!

  • LOL...OMG...I just read some comments...hahaha..yeah, I heard that stanky leg shit for the first time last week and I almost hurled!

  • G. Rap ripped this shit just like in the first one.

  • this shit is flawless! yo im a white dude from buffalo i never really felt 50 and them boys i stick with this shit right here my fav of all time NAS smiff and wesson ect... i just cant feel hip hop nowadays it aint he same look at this they made it look effortless also i dont even know if you can call it hip hop any more the stanky leg man wtf!!! i thught that kinda shit was over!!?? well anyway stay up everyone that knows true hip hop we know the truth

  • you from buffalo?!?!?! B LO REPRESENT!!! dats wassup, nobody round here bumps the real shit, propz..

  • Damn; To tell the truth, I did not like this back then. The Symphony was so hard, I thought the was kind of weak. Now, hearing this track, it sounds like REAL HIP HOP! And the rhymes are still fresh like its new shit. What the hell was I thinking? 20 years too late

  • if you have this track, send it to me in mp3 format

  • Kane missed the shoot for 'The Symphony' again?

  • lol

  • They were flowinglike that shit was sooo easy! where are we now?

  • is there a uncensored version of this joint? KGRs raps are fucked up becuz of those sounds...

  • i love my years of growin up on hiphop

1980 at age 8 - SUGAR HILL first album "RAPPERS DELIGHT"

1984 at age 12 - THE PEAK OF THE BREAKIN ERA & RUN-DMC arrived

    1988 at age 17 - RAKIM, KOOL G.RAP, KANE, & KRS-1 was out

    1993 at age 21 - WUTANG arrived

1995 at age 24 - EAST & WEST COAST RAP was at its peak, & the NEWYORK club seen was HOT

    2003 at age 31 - G-UNIT & EMINEM was on FIRE

but now in 2009 at age 37, HIPHOP IS DEAD, but im fortunate to be young in its best years :)

  • G-Unit is wack...how could you listen to wu-tang n then 50 rite after

  • yeah, but i wrote "2003 they were on fire", i didnt say G-UNIT was hot now. you cant forget the classic albums G-UNIT put out early in there carreer. from POWER OF THE DOLLAR, BEG FOR MERCY, HUNGER FOR MORE, & GET RICH OR DIE TRYING were all HOT albums that street niggas loved. so you maybe can diss the G-UNIT of now, but back then, G-UNIT was makin some hard street shit with BUCK, YAYO, BANKS, & 50 sayin HOT skillful lyrics over some great HARDCORE beats.

  • i think i gotta disagree with you. With the exception of a few tracks street cats wasn't really feeling G unit. It was the ladies and (don't take it personal) white suburbia that was buying their shit. And of course with MTV playing it all the time more suburbia got into them..making them HOT. Now do remember i did say there were a few tracks that "Real" street cats was feeling but overall most of them just took them for what they are/were.

  • well!, i dont know where youre from, but i'm from BROOKLYN NY, & in the early 2000's, it was a very large % of niggas who were bumping G-UNIT'S music, even in 2009 out here in BROOKLYN, 50 still has a pretty good fanbase, he does have a lot of haters also. but, just a few years ago, 50 did a 5 boro tour of NY, & i was at his show in brooklyn, & he had madd niggas from the hood up in there, the club was packed. & WHITE KIDS also like JAY-Z, NAS, SNOOP, LIL WAYNE, TUPAC, & BIGGIE, not just 50CENT

  • Wassup Nevawrong.. I was born in NYC, but i live all over and right now in GA (where the rap scene suffers) and like i said some of their early stuff was hot...allot of hood fellas i knew and grew up with weren't really feeling him. And also with the names you mentioned SOME of those cats( *ahem* wayne) wouldn't be so widespread accepted if MTV and white suburbia hadn't backed them up.

  • But where is Big Daddy Kane???

  • KGR raps sounded so funny. Not his realy rap. but the one on here cus all his swearing was dubbed over with that fart noise. if u wanna know wat he said it was something like

'straight out the mutherfucking gutta etc'

  • G RAP has never sounded whack on any track he spit on

  • you saying g rap is not a god rapper?

    i don't understand?

    you crazy or something?

  • chill the fuck out idiot hes talking about the guitar riffs replacing kool g's cursing. man you online backpackers are so dumb.

  • real shit

  • real rap!!

but why big daddy kane isnt on the clip?

  • this track is pure genuis! throw your hands up if you remember The Juice Crew, they don't make'em like they used to!

  • how come you can't see big daddy kane do his verse?

  • Yea this track is also great but the 1st one is way better.

  • KOOL G RAP IS WEARING FILAS

  • prefer the first symphony, but this is still hot

  • id sell my brothers body parts for Kool G Raps Nikes

  • Juice Crew, Brand Nubian, Artifact goood hiphop

  • masta ace gets down in this track

  • dope .. .from now on im only listenin to ol skool... its timeless

  • G Rap owns this track

  • BIG DADDY KANE, he flipped it to another level!!!

  • G RAP killed it again.

  • Born and raised on East Coast HipHop from the 80s............

  • Yo Craig G, I believe that's me!!!

  • I had this tape yes I said tape back in the day and used to wear it out. G Rap is that dude. This tape also had a song by LL on it called "I be gettin' busy" have not heard it in years. I used to always quote G Rap's lines and Masta Ace's lines from this song.

  • where the hell was Kane in this video? that was the most glaring omission.. ah well..

  • I believe Kane was in a car accident at the time. Remember Heavy D's vid dont curse. Kane's arm was in a caste. Both songs came out the same time.

  • G RAP ONCE AGAIN RIPPED IT!!!!

  • Ace is the shit in this video....nice Falcons jersey!

    <falcons fan

  • Big Daddy Kane Wasnt in the video :o

  • Dis Dat Shyt!!! Salute 2 Marley Marl!!! "ICON"

  • craig G got such swagger man

  • Zajeeebiste :) Kool G Rap, Crai G, Masta Ace gooooooooooooooooooooooooood rapers

  • ye patrick swazey

  • Kool g rap is sickk. Gotta show love for master ace as well, he did his thing.

  • kool g rap all the way

  • Who has the Truck Turner/Big Pun/G Rap/Krs-1 version of The Synphony?

  • i like the original version MUCH better...kane IS in that video..this is around the time kane was doing his semi rnb thing and wasn't coming as strong as we'd known him to..g rap stole the whole fuckin show but masta ace sparked that shit VICIOUSLY

  • onlyrealhiphop12, i agree with u. pt.I was the best! best i'm no complainer, i give props where they r due. this shit's hot.

  • anyone realise u dont see big daddy kane in this video whatsoever? he gets a verse but dosnt appear, dope track anyway but the original was better

  • i was wondering about that

  • word is bond!!

  • KGR reppin DALENCHMOB?

  • yeah,g rap had started working with icecube in 91 on some production.. they had a jawn called i ain't trickin plus on the live and let die the movie album,g rap had a song with cube, bushwick bill & scarface..sir jinx(producer and dj for cube)handled production for a couple songs on that album

  • 2 to da head

  • these is on of those songs that don't realy need a remix the original was better

  • at least masta ace gets a verse on this one :)

  • he wasnt on the first?

  • nah, i remember ace saying in a song about his time in the industry "i didnt let it get to me/ even if marley didnt put me on the symphony"

  • if ur talking about the song no regrets he says "even if marley didnt put me on the symphony But I gotta admit it I'm glad he did it

Its considered the first verse I ever spitted"

just listen to the symphony hes on it

  • rude bwooyyyy

  • somethings just dont need a sequel

  • g rap in this is dope as fuck

  • better than the original?

  • I liked the first Symphony better,

  • Why Kane wasn't in the video?

  • wow they weren't even cool with each other like that when this came out, that's a shame they couldnt stay together
