@greenalyd - maybe you just have to stick a footswitch into the 1/4" jack next to the Power Switch that is labeled "Remote" - try it.

@greenalyd . Add a pedal switch, and it should work. Without, absolutely NO ROTOR FUNCTION.

By the way the front and rear cloth on my amp is worn badly.

I finally got my RA-50 sent from the USA to Denmark.

I recieved it badly damaged, but after a weekend with tools, it's up and running.

It does have a 60 watt Yamaha trapezoidal "elephant ear" main speaker and a rectangular rotating speaker.

This amp actually sounds even more spacey than my RA-100 because the rotating sound mainly comes out from the sides, shifting sides as it turns.

The weight is still more than 30 kilos, and i'm happy that it on wheels.

Great amp, if you find one, BUY IT

hey man I was just kidding with that last comment, I actualy ripped one of these "rotary" units out of a cheap assed yamaha B-20 organ and shoved it in an old AWA speaker cabinet and this thing is fucking gracefull! Ive even mae it so that you can run guitar as well as mic into it.

That big one in the "Fireworks" video is really cool - 3 separate rotors, all at slightly different speeds for a random effect; and of course, greater power handling. But mine is cool like a 'little brother' : )
