  • To respond to both of you guys, I don't have the palatino anymore. I only made the modifications recommended on the TalkBass.com forum (go there, join up, and look for Palatino VE-500 megathread). I think it's usually 650.00 or so...you can find good ebay or craigslist deals. I personally didn't like the action on it...but then again, I didn't have a very good setup...probably that would have fixed it. I sold it and bought a NS Design Wav 4...which I LOVE!
