They just announced the other day that they won't be doing the fireworks this year unless they find sponsers willing to donate enough money and get the show going for 15 minutes.

no people did not runaway from a fireworks it put up a great show also july 5 is my birthday im 19 year old right now
yea the downtown akron have fireworks on every july 4
