I do think that some light setups are too much and don't provide as much visibility as other light patterns may but I thank the departments that they don't use blue lights! Whoooo, I mean some blue lights are alright but all blue lights.....now it isn't a firetruck anymore lol

I kinda agree with you, I didn't necessarily mean all blue lights, like the person I replied to, but some blues would make it a lot better, half blue, half red. If you search for "Saddle Brook, NJ Ladder 3 passing by" in youtube, you'll see what I mean :-). We use all blue for everything in the UK, but I'm not talking about the UK here LOL.
@04smallmj It has to do with the different freedoms the states have... Emergency vehicle lighting is not regulated by the federal government, the states have the power to set those laws.
