Backwards / Reverse ATV Wheelie Feat. Production X

I put the bike in reverse and with both feet on the rear rack, I throttle as fast as it will go in reverse and pull the back brake and throw my weight backwards. The bike then comes up into a wheelie and then you work the throttle and brake to keep the wheelie going.

dude ur like the master customizer... got it set up with a handbrake, i was reading the comment about the fuel pump back to the main tank from the one you put in and you made is so when u turn the bars it makes one wheel go faster then the other? you got props man

How does it not run outta gas in the carburetor? My raptor 250 used to stall when i was doing a wheelie for so long.

my problem is not running out of gas, it's having too much gas go thru the carb from being upright. I had to put a small holding tank in the trunk to hold the excess gas from pouring on the ground. gotta stay environmentally freindly you know.

Yeah I have the same problem. It leaks all over the road. what did you do just run the overflow to the tank?

You'd need a small pump to get it back up to the main gas tank. I just added a small tank in the trunk of the bike, at the rear and empty it when it fills out.

Tried a one wheel reverse wheelie yet? You would be the first person I know of that can do one.

That would be pretty cool , but I haven't seen anyone do a 1 wheel wheelie (going forward)on a quad yet. Let me know if you find a clip of one.

I've been stunting for 22 years now and had a blast doing it. The reverse wheelie is now my favorite. I can now do turns going backwards, video to follow soon. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Keep those front wheels pointing towards the sky.

how does it turn. extemely low tire pressure so you lean? or is there a chip to controll the speed of each tires like in a skid-steer

A differential on the back with a disk brake on each axle

I put disc brakes on the back and use the handbrake to get it to go backwards while in reverse.

how the hell are you doing the backwards reverse wheelies? I thought it was fake till i saw the stuntbikes doing wheelies forwards. And why are you able to turn the quad while in a wheelie with such ease?

we had the stunt bikes wheelie around me so you could see it wasn't fake. You go full titlt in reverse and pull the back brake, then keep it up with the trottle. Everything is reverse to the traditional wheelie. takes some practice, but pretty cool when you get the hang. I almost went over the bars the first few times I tried it.I modified it to be able to turn on a wheelie. I've been doing stunt shows on trikes and quads for over 22 years up here in Canada.
