transitions can be tough & once you are used to the software you will likely need less staff- at least that is what all of our doctors report back to us. But again that depends on your staff- how quickly they learn, retain the info, etc. Coming from a different EMR is hard because there are pros and cons to each software & you will likely miss some things- but on the flip side there should be other features you gain- I imagine Allscripts had its shortcomings or else why would you have switched?

Practice Partners need more support staff as our office has been dealing with headaches after headaches post transition from Allscripts A4 and it feels like we took 2 steps backwards. There are so many features that seem 1990s that need immediate correction but no-one is listening to us.
