You can actually kill the third king easily by shooting him with the phoenix just when he shoots you. His missile will blow up in his face.

mauler is super strong for charged shot. its gay as fuck they took out the second sound it makes when its fully charged. suppose to make a sound on inital charge n when fully charged it makes a higher pitched sound so u know without looking at the ammo meter. pretty gay they took it out.

Mauler charge shot to the head kills em. It's just a lot easier to get a headshot on a Skedar with auto-aim on than a human.

If your on the 360 then ignore N64 vids. On the N64 the enemies can't shoot for shit. Notice how when watching N64 vids you can stand still and not get shot. On the 360 they destroy you even while dodging.

The first part is where you get most hit.

All bosses on war! dies with 1 charged head shot.

Only 1 thing could have been done easier & faster.

Instead of running on the left side of the big pillar before 3rd boss room.

Hide on the right side of the pillar while the skedar will just passing by on the left side without attacking or seeing you.

they have respawn points near each king. I have a theory that there can only be so many active at a time so the less you kill the less you'll see when you reach the first King. I'm not 100% on that though.

Oh, the anguish! I tried countless times to beat this level on Perfect, countless, countless times... And I finally did. And then I see this video of you making it look so easy!!!... Not that the video was bad - quite the opposite, actually. It's just that this level was so hard... Those Skedar are a lot tougher than regular foes... they don't often flinch when shooting them, and at close range their attacks are BRUTAL - they are amazingly accurate! I dunno how you did this so easily. Good Job!

Just a word of advice .. the final Skedar King can be taken out much easier with a Phoenix shot. The explosion from the shot will detonate his missile.

you know the trick with the bombspy by the elevator on the ground level?

before you enter the elevator, leave the bombspy at the other elevator...

then enter the elevator, switch back to the bombspy, wait for the bodyguard to 'spawn' and then let it explode...

I find that it's impossible to kill all the Skedar with just the Phoenix, so I frag the First Maian and use his Callisto NTG on some of the Skedar. I usually die against the skedar inside that Double-doored chamber.
