nice posting - the intonation is good, there is no problem with phrasing, as someone say - just, the piece needs be about 4.00 to 4.40 long, not more then doubled in speed as it is (just 2.09 here) - Korsakov (not "ff") made it deliberately (enchantingly) slow, 'monotonous' - that's what makes it special ...
@branko1b The spelling of the composer's last name can be pretty ambiguous, considering that it is Russian and would originally be in Cyrillic. Nikolai himself would have spelled it this way: Ри́мский-Ко́рсаков. I've found that many different spellings that capture the pronunciation of the name are acceptable, the two f's being one of them. No use in nitpicking the musician about spelling in this case.
@facetiousraconteur i really wonder why do you think i was 'nitpicking' about the spelling
by the way, i have problems with reading or writing either Serbian or Russian Cyrillic - i do both better then English (nothing smart about that, it just about where we get born...); in all of them, i like consistency
"ff" was just a brief, bracketed, thought - i praised the intonation, complimented the phrasing, and criticised (far too fast) tempo - these were the points of my posting
well done my friend! i agree with rickisteiner's comments above. you have the intonation and technical aspects of the notes down pat. i would love to see you put a lot more passion and feeling into it. Song of India is a very emotional melody - one of my favorites. i would love it if you could continue practicing this piece and repost another video of you playing it so we can see your progress...
I like it. I'm curious how you play the flute without passing out. I never can...or at least not without getting really dizzy (that's why I had to quit)...anyway good job!
Lots and lots of practice. Believe me, after some practices I feel light headed to!
One thing about the video, it almost sounds like someone playing low on the piccolo instead of medium of the flute. The tone seems more piccolo-ish. I could just be the recording device though...
this is to fast
This is a slow song

you should pay more attention to dynamics and phrasing. it was a little rushed, but intonation was fine.
