That's a hell of a lot of air pockets between the LCD and touch capacitive screens... :/ Any way to resolve that?

good video...I think I can do it now. I used to work in a repair shop for vcr's etc. those drove me crazy...sometimes a gear would break and you had to replace it. then all the gears had to be properly aligned.

Excellent series. It really helped me fix my daughter's NDSL.

One trick you might be interested in: with the black wire, before you remove it, take a long thread and tie a slipknot around the head of the black wire. when you pull it through, it will take the thread with it. Undo the slipknot and let the thread hang. When you are ready to thread the black wire under the game socket, put the slipknot around the head of the black wire and pull the thread on the other side of the socket.

@Lorali51900 It means you plugged the screen ribbon cable incorrectly into the motherboard. Try this tutorial again :)

Many thanks for your time and effort in producing this video. Just completed it and was very easy to follow. The game settings were saved btw. The kids are thrilled to have the ds back working properly again and i am happy to have done it with minimal cost.

That video was awesome, I was able to fix it. Thank you. Now there is a small blue pixel on my new screen it might be from the installation, maybe something got in between those two screens. I will fix it later.
