  • If any other former cast or production crew logs in to this thread; I'd love to hear what you are all up to! I FB with Skip occasionally, but have lost touch with others; especially Jonathan, Orlando, and Elizabeth. Everyone else logging in, Thanks for putting this up, and giving me an opportunity to show my students, that Yes, I WAS part of a Nickelodeon show, once upon a time. Love to all!

  • As a former locker room cast member, I don't believe the Globe had been installed yet. In Jan./Feb. 1990 when we filmed, there were three or four working stages; we were in one, "Superboy" was in another, "Swamp Thing" in a third, and one where Chris Atkins and Ari Meyers from "Kate and Allie" were shooting a low budget film. The theme park was not yet open, and a couple of times, myself and other cast members got to tour the areas where the park was under construction. So glad for the memories

  • My dads under is in these credits under John Lastinger hahaha

  • @GLComic In Utility? Wow!

  • Back when the Nick game show block consisted of Double Dare, Finders Keepers, Make the Grade, and Think Fast. Man do I miss the 80's early 90's.

  • Was the Universal Studios globe really visible from Nickelodeon Studios when people visited there?

  • Was the Universal Studios globe really visible from Nickelodeon Studios when people visited there.

  • Do you have the rest of this episode??

  • @jonbateman80 cool245flashmail has the full episode of this. What he did is glue this TF closing with the Nick Studios credit from "Outta Here!". Adam Wurtzel's Nick Studios production timeline made a mistake, not only for this but for Nick Arcade as well. Nick Arcade began production in August or September 1991, not December, because Geoffrey Darby left Nick at the end of November of that year and that's when GTP officially ended production. And TF may've began production sometime in May 1990.

  • @Ivoryman1986 Actually, Think Fast may very well have been taped in January, as there's an original broadcast on YouTube that has a commercial for the live-action "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie, which opens March 30th.

  • @Tubewings Well then, I must be thinking that this season of TF started airing around the week of March 5, I have no idea why this season of TF was aired at the same time as the 2nd season of MTG(which was still taped in New York), but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie commercial is what gave it away, but the Think Fast logo was indeed there when people went inside the Nick Studios building. However, I have a hunch that TF started airing on the week of March 5, 1990.

  • I might also add, especially the episodes that had the episode's first event coming after the team interviews that would begin to air first. The later episodes that had the Locker Room characters performing out of the lockers at the beginning of the episodes had to be aired AFTER "In Living Color" first started airing.

  • Think Fast was taped in Orlando BEFORE Nickelodeon Studios opened.

  • @vnisanianisback This was filmed in 1990, Nick studios was opened when Think Fast, Double Dare, and Make the Grade was taped during in that year.

  • @SegaGenesis4100 I know the were all taped in 1990. But According to Adam Wurtzel's Nick Studios production timeline, Think Fast was taped in January 1990, and Nickelodeon Studios opened in June 1990, and that was the period when Make the Grade and Family Double Dare were taped.

  • @vnisanianisback You right, but Think Fast was probably taped in a different soundstage studio right beside Nickelodeon Studios during construction.

  • @SegaGenesis4100 Well, if Think Fast was aired in March 1990, it had to be Carrington's tenure in reruns, Lackey's tenure didn't start airing until after the Nickelodeon Studios has opened. When SSDD moved to Orlando, the Nick Studios building was not yet built and remained unmentioned since the Universal Studios complex in FL was opened in December 1988. There was at least one TF episode where a grand prize offered a trip to Universal Studios, home of the newly-opened Nick Studios.

  • @Ivoryman1986 -Actually, we taped in Jan./Feb. 1990, and began airing in early March, with the Locker Room Characters performing out from the first episode (Bobby and I were dressed in "I Dream of Jeannie" outfits). I seem to remember "In Living Color" starting sometime after we had stopped getting together at Jonathan Barry's place for frequent viewing/Margarita parties that first month. Lots of riffing on FIre Marshall Bill and Men on Film in the months that followed though.
