Who care sabout the instrumentation! Your directors need to either make someone in this band play an alto voice part or make them play an instrument that has an alto voice. This band sounds like it has a giant whole in it. I don't me to sound rude if I do, but seriously, you guys need to get your problem fixed! Decent band, colorguard needs to learn how to count.

How exactly do you figure we forced the judges to give us a better score? Small bands almost always get an unwritten penalty just for being smaller than the rest.

come on guys, not every school's got like 100 people in the band >.> my school's got like 40-50 tops including battery and guard. it's quality, not quantity guys. Our section leaders are major pro and they'd never let a solo like that (melophone)? solo EVER sound like that. so chill out.

Yea, some of you need to realize that there are actuially small bands out there. Get over yourselves. Not every band is blessed or just has 200 members, but that doesn't depreciate its value. All band/choral/orchestral musicians are colleagues together, so we should treat all of them as if they are a part of our band as well, even if they come from a small ensemble. Plus this is a good group anyways, especially for being their size.

Uh, most people in the band seems to prefer a wide shot, so that you can actually see what the whole show looks like. And who likes to perform during the day? Marching shows always look better under the lights.

God orchestrated music sucks...especially in marching bands, they have no real talent whatsoever, they just do what their director tells them to with no objections and then people try to call it music....id like to see on of their "first chair" trumpets go against miles davis, or one of their drummers go against john bonham...if you listen to any instrument closely youll hear that it really isnt any good like the brass solo at 4:00ish...it just sucks!

I'm a percussionist, and even I think that there was far too much emphasis on percussion in that show. I kept waiting for the winds to break out......kinda happened when the guards lifted the flags, but not so much. Not to speak ill of you all or anything, because it doesn't sound bad or anything, I just got a little bored.
